Adequate for our needs but room for improvement.
Pros:

Having stayed here many times, the staff are still delightful from front desk to restaurant and housekeeping.

Cons:

OK. It's time someone repaired the sash windows on the upper floor of the annexe. The windows only stay open if propped up with something like a book for example.

The staff made the stay a really happy one.
Pros:

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and when I had found the pillows hard, I asked the chamber staff lady, and she very kindly brought me some very comfy pillows for my 2nd night. Likewise, I had been quite cold, and thought that the heating may have been turned off because it was warm weather, but when I mentioned it, the same lady told me how to control the heating, and put it on for me, so I was super comfy the 2nd night.
The other thing that I mentioned at the desk, at the time was that, as I was staying in an accessible room, there should have been a lift down rail as well as a grab rail the other side to get on and off the toilet. I had to hold the sink and the loo seat, and with a leg brace that made things a bit tricky.
However, the friendliness of the stsff, and willingness to put things right impressed me, and I would certainly stay again, as this outweighed any slight inconvenience.
