The receptionist was really helpful
Location was perfect. Delux double room very clean and spacious and great to have use of a lift to upper floors in that section. (Which wasn’t advertised). Staff friendly and welcoming.
Location, friendly staff
Minor point ,clarity of car park instructions regarding permit. Though the avsilbity of a psrking prrmit was mentioned in the email, a reminder that one would be available hotel gusts on the car parking instructions would be helpful
Bathroom. was well finished., again a minor detail to consider if you renovate or refresh the bathroom, I would have found a shaving mirror a useful.additio ,as main mirror was just a bit too far away when standing at the sink.
The welcome and checkout were amazing the lady was so lovely I’m sorry I didn’t get her name.
Twin beds. The amount of stairs. Cobwebs in room
location is right in the middle of town with shops, pubs and restaurants easily walkable.
not keen on the restaurant and the bar is a bit pricey.
Breakfast ok
Dinner relatively good value
Dark dingy conference style room ..no evidence of historical inn
Beds on wheels with no brakes ..moving about is dangerous
Sink :water comes out so forcefully that soaks you
Breakfast tea served almost cold ? Waitress unable to offer hotter water?!
Carpark difficult to park in
Another wonderful stay, This time I was travelling alone, So the single room was order of the stay and although the room & bathroom was ideal, as was the slightly larger than normal single bed, the problem was the room location as it was up 3 flights of stairs, it was ok in my case, but for anyone who struggles with stairs, this may be a major problem esp with suitcases, So avoid room 37 if this is you! Otherwise everything was great. The buffet style cooked breakfast is an absolute must to begin your day of Mkt Harborough adventure! Enjoy!
Just the stairs getting to room 37, Otherwise great
Great place to stay staff were very good

No tiene ascensor
Location was perfect!
Very quintessentially old English style hotel, which I really really liked. The decor in the restaurant was lovely and rooms were nice and well equipped.
When I arrived in our room I didn't like that I found some hair in the bath and on the floor of the bathroom. Maybe someone was rushing with the cleaning. No issues with cleaning after that.
Perfectly placed for the town. Parking was easy and convenient
Bit chilly in the conservatory where we had dinner
Very good in house restaurant.
Large and comfortable room.
Location
Location great
Convenient for shops and restaurants , problems quickly resolved , bathroom very nice in the superior room , generous tea and coffee and water
Rooms need to be refurbished they are looking very tired , I think slightly overpriced ,the bed was comfy, pillows weren't.
