Vieille auberge en bord de route typique et ancienne (sols et murs pas droits !) main s c’est aussi ce qui fait le charme ! Bon accueil, grande chambre et grande salle de bain, parking privé, tres bon petit déjeuner

It’s location
It hazardous, electric sockets half out of walls, plaster coming off the walls, I was tripping over everything. At 2am people were checked in above me and stamping around, rolling suitcases around etc. I couldn’t sleep, my assistance dog sensed danger and barked.
Breakfast consisted of packet pain au chocolat or croissant or sliced bread to toast, dry basic cereal, coffee or juice.
Bed was comfortable. Receptionist was very friendly and polite. Breakfast staff in the morning were also very friendly and polite. That's about all I can say regarding what I liked about my Stay at the hotel.
The rooms look very tired, need a bit of money spent on them in terms of tidying them up a bit and just need an update overall. The Suite only had one room which was warm (and that was only down to having a plug in heater. Bathroom light pulldown cord had some long screw stuck on the end of it, to as a grip when you want to turn on or off the light. Toilet seat also very loose. I wanted call it a "suite"! I do not recomendad staying there.

Good location and plenty of parking
Everything about the hotel was awful. The decor , the beds, it was dusty , dirty , no plugs in bathroom, leak in toilet , whole in floor carpeted over. Nothing matched , beds broken and old. Incredibly noisy as on a main road. Don't be fooled by the pictures or website .
The location was perfect for what we needed
The property is in urgent need of refurbishment and updating throughout. There was an unpleasant smell, the carpets were in very poor condition, and the furniture was old, dirty and extremely worn. The sofas were particularly uncomfortable and had clearly seen better days.
The windows were also in need of repair, with one not closing properly, leaving the room extremely cold. To make matters worse, the heating did not work, and we were provided with just one small portable heater, which was completely inadequate and proved they knew heating did not work.
Most concerning of all, we discovered upon waking in the morning that the smoke alarm in the bedroom had been covered with a plastic bag. This is a serious fire safety concern and completely unacceptable in guest accommodation. I have put a complaint in but there was no staff around to speak to upon checking out. Just a bowl to leave keys in…..
Overall, the property felt neglected, poorly maintained and desperately in need of investment. It was a very disappointing stay and certainly not somewhere I would recommend in its current condition.
Not much to like about this place.
Everything from the time we got there to the time we left. I know previous reviews were bad, but I had no choice as we needed 8 rooms. The rooms/cleanliness/bathrooms/floors/carpets/heating - the list just carries on. It needs a total revamp. I would not recommend it to anyone. It is the worst place I have ever stayed at.

The room wasn't clean. There was a toe nail clipping on the bed, and black hairs within the bedding. There was a metal scouring pad in the bathroom sink. The bathroom ceiling was cracked and badly painted.
The room walls were dirty and damaged.
There was no sound privacy in the rooms, I could hear everything my neighbours were talking about.
The outside presentation was poor, it isn't well kept, there is clutter and furniture blocking the front windows.
I considered leaving immediately. But was too tired to make my 3hr car drive home safely.

Not very much
Very dated not clean, dusty lamp dusty under bed dusty behind tv unit. Staining on carpet, kettle not cleaned inside, toilet stained, it is advertising with old photos not resent photos.

Good location to visit everything.
The hotel is next to a busy junction with cars going past the window 24/7. The car park is full of pot holes. Our room was dirty and in need of an update, the wood on the windows was crumbling too. We had no towels and everything was generally tired looking and dirty. Our room was very dark too with only two lights. Breakfast is just a continental one, but was okay.
It was easy to find with plenty of parking across the road.
Room was a good size but in disrepair, broken window taped up, stains on carpets, hot tap at wash basin not working.
Didn't get much sleep as the windows are single glazed and broken and the hotel is at the crossroads of 2 very busy roads all day and night so was kept awake by traffic noise. Bed has old style sprung mattress so every time someone moves it makes loud noises. Room didn't have a couch in as described just a chair and a weird bench at foot of bed. Paint peeling off under window and needs touching up in other places. It's such a shame as this hotel is in a great location and with a bit of attention would be great. No option for meals except breakfast as described which consists of cereal, toast, crumpets, longlife cheap croissants, yogurt, tea, coffee and juice.
I would not stay there again
Perfect for what we needed, clean and tidy, nice staff and ample parking
