We would stay there against n, recommend with reservations, but there isn’t much alternative choice in the town
Pros:

Efficient friendly staff
Spacious bedroom (basic rate), well heated.
Good food, healthy for those who like it but plenty of choice

Cons:

No heating in the bathroom (March visit)
Bedding very cumbersome. Too heavy, too hot at night. Bed itself was fine.

Ok stay in great location
Pros:

Location and quiet room comfy bed

Cons:

145 pounds room only a little dear for local hotel stay...was 99.9 percent I had clicked on ...standard double room non refundable with breakfast ...as if breakfast option is available I always select it....but never took screenshot for proof....lesson learnt but bookjng .com issue NOT hotels fault

Pros:

Bedroom and ensuite exceptionally well illuminated, for reading and general living . Breakfasts very good quality food and lovely scrambled egg
Staff very friendly and helpful
Bathroom fittings and cleanliness perfect, lovely to find a bath

Cons:

Would have liked to be able to open the window, and although the air con was as quiet as possible we still found it intrusive to sleep through.
Breakfast vegetables were lukewarm or cold

The staff were pleasant.

Cons:

The hotel is tired, the rooms need modernising. You can hear every noise from neighbouring rooms and above. You have to pay £10 to park. The restaurant was empty and had no atmosphere.

Most enjoyable, great value for money.
Pros:

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the City. The staff are great too, really friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Cons:

The bed wasn't very comfortable and the room was too hot but otherwise, it was perfect.
