Good location
We found a knife in our room. We told the staff straight away. Luckily I didn’t have my child with me. As this was one very sharp knife. I was disgusted 🫣 The bathroom was smelly, the toilet didn't flush.
The staff said please wait until the morning about the knife situation. So we can tall about this.
The morning came. I said I'm not happy with pay for our rooms. But they never give us a refund!!!!
I'm never staying here again
Have been happy every time I have stayed here - apart from one time we're a wedding party kept me up most of the night due to talking in corridors & constantly going from room to room. When asked about my stay explained I was exhausted due to sleep deprivation. Reception apologized & I was given discount.
SUGGESTED:- fit stronger door closures at the top of doors so they close gently. ALL the ones fitted in our corridor were way too noisy as they slammed closed rather than correct gentle closure which would have kept the sound a lot quieter & as they should be.

No food available . The two takeaway menus. We’re both chicken diners. I am vegetarian of 37 years. I had my dog with me so could not go out for food. I had to go to bed hungry. So I hope they try to sort this. I am a lone traveller so I really was stuck. If it wasn’t for this I would stop in this spot a lot .

This is the first time I’ve actually written a negative report The room was very hot so we had to sleep with the windows wide open Unfortunately our room was on the road side and we had constant vehicles going by all night and taxis seem to accumulate outside as well
We didn’t sleep any of the night and had to get up at 4am to get to the airport
I’ll make sure we get a room at the back of the hotel next time
Friendliest staff I've ever encountered. Lovely clean room and reception area.
1 minute walk from Watford town centre which is full of restaurants and entertainment.
The free wifi was excellent.
I'm struggling to think of something, so I'd be nitpicking.
Close to shops, restaurants and train station but also far enough away so its not noisy of a night. Room was a little outdated and could do with a freshen up and maybe a bit of an upgrade but otherwise the staff and facilities were very good.
Shower leaked out the bath. As the bath was to small an area or the shower was too powerful for the bath space. The toilet roll was to far away from the toilet as well. I think the bathroom could have been designed a lot better than it was.
