From the outside nice looking property

Cons:

Stuck in the80’s and in need of a lot of money spent to update. Room was very dated and bed was one of the worst I’ve slept in. Matres was so worn out you could feel the bed slats

Had a lovey stay.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast, the room was a little small as it was only a small double which is fine for one person but a bit of a squeeze for two. The bathroom door was a sliding door which was a bit noisy but the bathroom itself was adequate.

Lovely venue for a party night

The staff, the lovely bar with a log fire
Kim and her team always went above and beyond to ensure our whole family had a super stay

Cons:

Some of the bedroom furniture could be thought to be a little dated but the beds were comfy and everywhere very clean

Cons:

Mattress was old and very uncomfortable, sloped to.one side, so kept rolling out
Evening meal.was £19, for 10 frozen chips a spoon full of peas and a small fish l, fish was dry and over cooked batter was nice but its not worth more than £8,99 ..breakfast was.fine
Just don't think the food demands the high prices charged

2nd time we have stayed here. Both times asked for accessible room ( no lift) but not done.

Perfect for the overnight stay we had booked. Beautiful property, would stay again.
Pros:

Stunning property in a lovely location. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fresh and delicious with a good variety. The decor was country chic and the atmosphere was lovely and cosy.

Cons:

Due to the properties age there was some areas of the bedrooms which could be much improved. The windows were mouldy held a lot of condensation. There were also signs of age in the bathroom. Having said this the bedrooms and bathroom were clean.

Nice grounds, nice building, staff were friendly, bed was comfortable. Overall cleanliness was good.

Cons:

The room wasn’t what was in the picture, the wallpaper was peeling off, the shower was held in with tape, the bath side was coming off and leaked all over the floor when showering, the view was of an adjacent rooftop and back alley. The kitchen closed at 9 and the bar at 10.

Déjà, le personnel a été adorable parce que je m’étais trompée de date: ils m’ont quand même offert une chambre sans frais supplémentaires pour mon étourderie! Le petit-déjeuner et le dîner étaient très bons! L’endroit est vraiment bucolique! Les lits étaient confortables et nous avons bien dormi.

Cons:

L’odeur d’humidité de la salle de bain et la propreté des lieux ( plusieurs bestioles étranges ont élu domicile…)

I have tried to reach out to the hotel prior to leaving this review. No response! we we're at the hotel for a works Christmas party. Food was almost cold, not even tepid! cold. Not good value. Hubby couldnt eat his turkey.

Woken up at 6.30/7am on a sunday to incredibly loud music from downstairs, not what you want after a night out
