Lovely stay in a very welcoming historic hotel
Pros:

Very friendly staff , excellent evening meal in the restaurant , love the architecture of the main building and the wood panelling in the bar area . Lovely gardens and very pet friendly .

The hotel is dog friendly and well situated for the National Exhibition Centre (NEC).
Pros:

The surrounding grounds were excellent as we were accompanied by two dogs. The room was adequate but a little small with two dogs. The evening meal offered sufficient variety, and the restaurant facilities were fine. We had to leave early for Crufts dog show and so we did not have breakfast at the hotel. Car parking was good.

Cons:

There was nothing in particular and our stay was short.

Bed uncomfortable, food wasn't up to standards for money of the rooms rude staff members, and you have to wait ages to get a drink plus bed dirty, and rooms had damp dog smell, won't be staying here again that's for sure

Enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea celebrating my birthday with friends. Lovely room, Staff were all very friendly and food was amazing. I've been 3 times now and I've never been disappointed. Highly recommend

Room decor could do with updating …. Rotten wood corner of shower cobwebs carpet needed clean …. Realise time of year but grounds a mess litter all over car park . Should be higher standards with price you pay

We were attending a very important Family occasion - the staff were sensitive and super-helpful.

The staff are super friendly, efficient, and kind.
The breakfast was delightful and we had plenty of choice of lots of lovely items
The Hotel location is wonderful, easy to get to and plenty of good parking.

From the outside nice looking property

Cons:

Stuck in the80’s and in need of a lot of money spent to update. Room was very dated and bed was one of the worst I’ve slept in. Matres was so worn out you could feel the bed slats

Pros:

Excellent breakfast, the room was a little small as it was only a small double which is fine for one person but a bit of a squeeze for two. The bathroom door was a sliding door which was a bit noisy but the bathroom itself was adequate.
