Pros:

The stay was excellent as always. The beds are comfortable, the shower nice and hot. Breakfast is plentiful with lots of choice. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel in rural location
Pros:

Set in a pleasant rural location. Very nice staff and good restaurant. Great breakfast buffet with plenty of options

Cons:

Disturbed quite a few times through the night. If there was a quiet policy it was being well ignored with slamming doors and discussions in corridor between 1 and 2am.

Pros:

The breakfast was ok and the staff attentive and friendly. The bar was well stocked. It was clean and tidy. Check in was easy and efficient as was check out.

Cons:

The whole complex was tired. The carpet in the room was ripped. The bed was uncomfortable and the extractor fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy.

Lovely hotel in a nice quiet area
Pros:

Easy check in and lovely lady on reception.
The Spa area is a little faded but all the bits were working well and the area was clean.
The bar area is lovely with a nice outside area to get the last of the sun.
Food in the bar was good and well priced.
I liked the little snug areas that you could sit in and have a drink before bed.
Room was basic but comfortable and clean.
We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on quality

Nothing. It was all good for the night we stayed

A better than expected stay.
Pros:

Lovely rooms. We booked one standard and a suite. The standard was very nice but the suite was out of this world. The leisure facilities were excellent, jacuzzi steam room and sauna topped it off.
Breakfast ranged pastries cereal to cooked breakfast. It was great to offer a choice of eggs.
Staff were really helpful.

Cons:

Breakfast was a little bit of a let down. I think after having a great stay, I was expecting a little too much.

Pros:

Great facilities. Lovely gym and spa. Reasonably priced menu.

Cons:

Decor in rooms, halls and some seating areas a bit dated. Not scruffy or dirty, but very date. Reception and main bar nice though.

Great little stay.
Pros:

Lovely old building in a very quiet setting. Our room had a view of the golf course which was nice to watch whilst relaxing. The bed was extremely comfy and there were toiletries and tea and coffee facilities. The room was spacious enough for the two of us. Staff were brilliant, attentive and friendly. Food served at the bar was very good and well priced. Morning breakfast was good, hot and had plenty of selection.

Cons:

The room did feel dated. Flickering halogen lights when turning them on, coupled with a fake ceiling similar to what you'd find in an office do let the place down. The decoration was fairly plain too.
