Great surroundings
Lovely breakfast
Great bar area
Nothing about the property but was awoken at 4:30am by shouting residents
Un emplacement au calme dans un hôtel très sympathique.
Room spacious and cool in very hot weather.
I didn’t have a fridge that would be because I got a discounted room.
Great staff maintenance guy was very kind moved me to a better room that was cool.
Not having a fridge in hot weather for milk etc
room and breakfast both excellant -disabled facilities very good and comfortable to use.
nothing everything was very good
Lovely surroundings. The pool temperature was just right. Food was really tasty and made with good quality ingredients. The burger was one of the best I had ever eaten, and the gooseberry and stem ginger eton mess was delicious. They were both so good that I had them both nights we were there. The air conditioning in the bar area was very welcome. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast from 7.00am at the weekend was just what I needed.
It was extremely hot, and there was no air conditioning in our room. Unfortunately, the fan was not much help due to the unusually high temperature.
This is our go to retreat, we love the hotel, chilled, everyone friendly, great rooms, spa and food fantastic, back 2 more times later in year.
Nothing.
Thank you the evening meal was really good
All good thank you
Lovely and relaxing.
Food was excellent
Staff were very friendly and helpful
Nothing
The bar and dinning room had air conditioning in
The staff were helpful
Property is old and has no air conditioning in any of the bedrooms
The superior room we booked was on the top floor and was unbearably hot it was 31 degrees outside
We asked to be moved to a ground floor which they did , only a standard room was available which we took
Bathroom had a shower in the bath with no grab rails which was a hazard in my view ,
Tea and coffee tray hid away in a cupboard because the lack of space ( had to ask reception before finding it )
No bottle water in the room
The lay out of the interior is difficult due to four steps up before you could access the bedrooms
They do have a side entrance of disable to get round this problem . My husband is disabled with respiratory ailments but he managed these stairs but getting to the top floor he managed with difficulty and felt quite poorly
I immediately went down to the reception and explained that we needed to move and was there air conditioning anywhere in the building . She phoned my husband in the room 325 and the staff moved us down to room 110 on the ground floor
This hotel is rated 4* and it no where near a 4* rating which it had and should be looked at asp
The golf club which is the main draw looks very good and well kept
We stayed 2 nights as part of a trip.to Kilworth house theatre. Kilworth itself has become very expensive.
Ullesthorpe court is welcoming and very clean. Staff are lovely. Pool is a bit on the small side. Jacuzzi good. The terrace at the back by the golf shop is great for a drink in the sunshine. Breakfast was OK. Eggs a bit cold. We had dinner one night which was good. The other night we ate in Cheikos Lutterworth.
On the downside there is nowhere.to go for a walk on site, apart from the golf course which is accessible after the golf finishes.
Overall a pleasant stay.
Visited for Sunday lunch with family and was very disappointed with the whole experience and poor quality food. On arrival we were directed to the restaurant which was accessed through a narrow passageway where staff were serving from. Very little atmosphere in the room and only a few diners, which says something. The menu folders plastic and seemed well used and the menus were printed on brightly coloured background which gave a downmarket impression. Drinks prices were very high and the staff didn’t seem to have much knowledge about certain drinks. We ordered main courses which took a long time to arrive and were rather unappealing. Everything piled onto your plates more like a pub lunch rather than a restaurant in a 4 star hotel. Some of the food appeared to have been reheated, notably the stodgy cauliflower and broccoli cheese. The only good thing was an extra jug of hot gravy which was provided on request. Desserts were average and the panna cotta was served with biscotti biscuits rather than nice home made style biscuits.
Ullesthorpe Court boast about having an AA rosette, but based on this experience, it was well below the standard we expected of a restaurant with this accreditation.
We haven’t visited for a long time and won’t be going back any time soon.
Lovely clean room, very clean bed. Friendly professional staff.
Breakfast was just okay - not brilliant- eggs like rubber and friend bread very tough.
Location, spa, food
Unfortunately someone had been sick on the outside seating the which was not pleasant to find the next morning
