Persistent noise from other people going from room to room slamming doors at 12 am 1 am 2 am 3 am started to sleep at around 4 am won't be going back...Nothing done when I complained... Couldn't wait to leave...Went plenty of times before with no problems...But it appears something has gone wrong... Lovely building though...What a shame.
The tv to drown out the noise of partygoers in the outdoor party and fag huts
Fag smoke coming through my closed window noise people boozing under my window in the huts and the un lit corradors nearly broke my neck on the stair in middle twice

The room was quiet, comfortable and extremely clean. The location was good with safe parking.
I booked the hotel because it had a restaurant. I would have appreciated a message beforehand to let me know the restaurant was closed because of staffing problems. This had a knock on effect on breakfast too. Cereal wasn't offered until another guest asked for it, butter was brought when we asked but was not available on the buffet table. The hotel made it clear that there was no lift and that bedrooms were on the first and second floors. However, there was no mention, when booking, of the 'spiral' staircase we had to use to get to our room.
