A very nice Hotel for a quiet break, we found the Hotel to be of very good value
Pros:

Excellent location with views across the channel, good walks within the grounds, pleasant helpful staff, comfortable and roomy day room lounges, quiet and relaxing stay. Victorian decoration large and spacious rooms with large modern windows.

Cons:

Only one small problem where there was not enough milk within the room for an additional cup of tea/coffee each. This was easily resolved by the reception, but if arriving late this service may not have been available

Pros:

View from room. Good breakfast

Cons:

It would have been nice to have bottled water in the room and a coffee machine. Also, the heated towel rail did not work

Well worth a visit. Very good location
Pros:

It was a beautiful building and it was very comfortable. We upgraded to a sea view and it was worth it. The view was very calm and enchanting

Great base to explore Clevedon
Pros:

Quality of service. Views from hotel. Car park. Food. Plenty of room in bedroom. Plenty of hot water in shower. Lift to floors. Walking distance to pier.

Cons:

Low mains water pressure in hand basin. Absence of non-slip bath mat.

Apart from the above, our stay at the hotel was good. The staff were very friendly.
Pros:

The staff were friendly. The situation of the hotel is pretty. The room was adequately spacious. I also appreciated having a bath, as well as a shower.

Cons:

The bed was creaking, when moved in bed during the night. Also there was an outlet for a central heating system which let out exhaust fumes just below our window, and made dull noise, more noticeable at night when it was quiet. The hot tap at the sink swiveled around when trying to turn off the water. It just needed tightening.
