location is great , breakfast is great always a lovely stay we stay regular and always love the experiences here fantastic views
from our sea view room the building is lovely but would benefit from the installation of air conditioning throughout
building has no air con and is very hot in summer this has always been highlighted when we stay but there is no indication that any improvement will be investigated
Location was great and most of the staff members were happy to help with a smile.. Erica in particular was brilliant. Our room was lovely.
Although I was more than happy to pay for our dog, £20.00 per night seems rather excessive particularly as nothing was provided for her apart from a bowl of water in the Bistro.
Overall nice for one night. There is a lovely lounge room with a sea view hy reception as well as a lovely garden iwth a sea view.
The reception staff are lovely and the room has everything you need - kettle, hot drinks, towels, and toiletries.
The rooms are a little dated and gey really hot on a warm day with no fans or aircon and windows that only open a little bit. The curtains also aren't blackout so it gets light very early. Dinner in the restaurant is okay but not great value for money.
Excellent location lovely comfortable room.
The evening meal we had. The pork tbone was full of fat and grissle my husband left it we told the staff but no apology or anything.
Staff, cleanliness, location
Another pleasant stay at this lovely location.
Nothing
Comfortable and clean rooms, glad you could take dogs easily
Very good breakfast in dining room with views over the water
Ideal for one night. Our room was quiet and comfortable, with a sea view.
Da könnte man richtig toll was draus machen.
The hotel is in a beautiful location and you can see it was once a grand hotel.
The hotel is very tired and dated. Its old world charm feels long gone with cheap furniture and poor decor. We upgraded to an executive room and whilst it was large and had a view over the sea that was where it ended. The corridor outside was like something out of a horror movie, filthy carpets, battered doors and dirty paintwork. We also paid the early check in fee of £30 so paid over £170 for a tired, cheaply furnished room with a mediocre breakfast.
Location, spacious room with a lovely view, hotel receptionist very welcoming, providing a map and just checking us in in a very professional and pleasing manner
Disappointed by the evening bar staff, not as welcoming as I would have expected. It was close to 2230 and the impression was they wanted to close the bar down, no problem, but took our drinks to our room instead of sitting in the bar.
We have stayed before
The room we stayed was a very pretty and spacious room. And I really liked the vibe inside the room.
Nothing.
The location was great and the views were brilliant. Very decent breakfast.
The decor was a little tired.
The view was good, the room size great, got a fan from reception to help with the heat. Excellent receptionist at check-in. Bar is a nice setting, dining room has great views.
Nothing!
