The Sesari Jimbaran

The Sesari was just a day stay spot, when me and my girlfriend were going to Jimbaran beach. Staff was very friendly upon check in. Room was okay, needs more cleaning, there was a spiderweb and spider in shower, and also a lizard in the room. Good for price of day stay, or just for a one night placement. Staff was very helpful when leaving especially front desk clerk who helped with our baggage onto taxi upon checkout of room.

Отель выбирали по картинкам и месторасположению. Когда заселялись, общее впечатление благоприятное. Но после 1-го же дня проживания пелена с глаз спала. То, что сразу не раздражало (якобы чистые серогрязные полотенца, поломанная сантехника, такая же мебель, отсутствие геля для душа, зубных щёток, полотенец для лица, присутствие чужих волос после ´´уборки´´, которая длится 3 мин, пыли на всех поверхностях и ТП), после неоднократных встреч с крысами и продуктами их жизнедеятельности это стало просто выбешивать. Необходимость каждого утра протирать все с мылом оказалась довольно утомительна. Персонал улыбается и на просьбу дать белые полотенца приносит точно такие же серогрязные. Других они не видели. И за всякую услугу просят деньги. Понятие ´´репутация´´ для этого отеля не применено. Их все устраивает и меняться они не хотят. И в конце проживания, при просрочке сдачи номера на 2 часа (по обоюдной договоренности), предъявили счёт как за полдня. Вообщем, выжимают max при min вложениях. Общая оценка- троечка с минусом.

Staff seem uninterested. Check in was just being given a key and pointed to a room. No information supplied at check in or in room.
Pillows were so uncomfortable and bathroom full of mould as was private pool.
WiFi was terrible even though our room was closest to reception.

Location is up a lane way and a long way from anywhere.

There are a couple of fantastic places 30 min walk away for food and massage though.
I recommend Jimbran corner for the best meals and service anywhere. Tues and Sunday they have traditional Bali smorgasbord and dancing. Staff were brilliant and owner was very nice. Bliss spa near Jimbran corner is also the best massage place I have been to in Bali or anywhere. I have suffered for 15 years with neck and shoulder pain and after 1 hour at bliss I was pain free for 2 days.

We had a great time at this hotel. The staff was incredibly nice. The hotel is hidden off a main street but within close walking distance to different food options. You can walk out to the main street to catch a cab or have them call one for you. The bathroom was a bit dated but the bedroom was comfortable and the downstairs are was nice as well. We didn't end up using the personal pool but it was a great set up.

They are all friendly, very nice enough to let us know where would be the good place for dinner too.
The room was very clean and wide, great cost performance.

Friendly and accomdating staff. The room wasn't perfectly clean but comfortable enough - the aircondition worked perfectly. Be aware that the hotel and the villas are on two different addresses and the pool is at the hotel. There's a twenty minute walk to the beach. All in all an okay place to stay.

We arrived late at night. The taxi driver struggled to find the place (we later realised no taxi driver knew the place and always needed a map or to be given directions along the way). There was some confusion when we got there, not many staff around. The staff were lovely throughout the trip though.
While it is cheap for a villa with a pool, the pool is quite small, with little sunlight over it (if you are a sun-baker). The biggest let down was the bathroom, shower was broken, no grill on the drain, toilet seat didn't fit and toilet didn't flush well, mouldy smell and water pooling from leaks. Breakfast is not made fresh. Location is secluded and you will need taxi to find dinner.
In summary, if you want a cheap villa, off the track and with no trimmings and lovely staff, go ahead and book this place.
