There is limited free parking on site. Public parking is also available across the road and charges may be applicable.
The hotel does not have any ground floor rooms; all rooms are accessed via a spiral staircase, and there is no elevator.
Unfortunately there is no air conditioning throughout the hotel. However fans are provided in all the rooms.

General cleanliness was excellent, food very good. Most of staff were friendly and professional.
Later night staff in Bar unwelcoming, particularly one member working on the Thursday night of our stay. Had a meal out in town and returned for a couple of drinks in the Bar, immediately approached by this person asking if we were actually staying at the Hotel and our room number. It wasn't the questions but the manor they were asked! Very unprofessional. They must have had some problems in the past with people just walking in but there is a way to speak to people and that wasn't it.

Noisy delivery/movement of steel beer barrels in storage very early in the morning.
Food was excellent room was very nice and cleaning was good. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We really liked the little touches in the room such as the water provided
Noise and lots of it continually. Road nose was horrendous and made worse by a loose manhole cove right outside our window. But there is very little sound insulation through I the windows and we could clearly hear what people were saying in the street. First night we hardly slept which really effected our enjoyment of the next day. On day two we found ear plugs provided in the room, which we had not been told about, that improved the nose but did not solve it and again did not sleep well, but even in the day time it was hard to hear the TV and we were cutting our days out short to try and get more sleep. It ruined the whole stay, fortunatly Sunday night was queter and i felt safe to drive home but I had been worried about that.

I had to change my room for part of my stay. Although the room was bigger it was not noise proofed enough and therefore received a complaint from another guest. Not at all how I usually conduct myself.
