Pros:

Staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience. The staff were extremely helpful and spoke excellent English, which made everything very easy. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, and the onsen was truly the highlight of our stay. The only small downside was that the view of Mount Fuji from the women’s onsen was partially blocked by opaque tape.

The breakfast was amazing—we enjoyed it very much and were happy to experience this style of cuisine. Thank you for the great care and hospitality.

Taste of Japanese living in a great location
Pros:

Great view from our room over the lake. View of the mountain from the back is stunning once it decides to show itself. The hotel does a great job of being ‘authentic’. Great restaurant just down the road and excellent breakfast place just beyond it.

Cons:

We found the bathroom quite cramped.

Großartige drei Tage in einem Traditionshotel
Pros:

1. die Freundlichkeit des Personals an der Rezeption, beim Frühstück und im Shuttle zwischen Hotel und Bahnhof
2. das japanische Frühstück und die schnelle Initiative der Mitarbeiterinnen, viele gute vegetarische Alternativen anzubieten, nachdem ich ihnen beim Blick auf das vorbereitete Frühstück eröffnete, dass ich Vegetarierin bin
3. das japanisch gestaltete, große Zimmer mit Seeblick
4. die modernen Onsen in der 4. Etage des Anbaus - neben dem Bad gab es auch ein Tauchbecken und eine Sauna, jeweils getrennt für Frauen und Männer
5. das traditionelle Hauptgebäude des Hotels, das für eine über 80jährige Geschichte steht
6. der Fudji-Blick vom Dach des Haupthauses
... und vieles, vieles mehr...

Cons:

Manchmal klappte die Wifi-Verbindung auf dem Zimmer nicht (hatte sicherlich mit der Lage im Gebäude zu tun), was für uns angesichts der vielen Vorzüge des Hotels aber nicht so ins Gewicht fiel.

Pros:

Posizione comoda per raggiungere le principali attrazioni del lago Kawaguchiko, onsen pulito e camere dotate di tutti i comfort. Vicino alla struttura c’è anche un buon ristorante e una buona brasserie. Assolutamente consigliato!

Excelentes vistas del lago y del fuji, y con preciosos observatorio y onzen. Las instalaciones son espectaculares.

Hotel para amantes de lo vintage

Es un hotel antiguo, frente al lago, con vistas al M. Fuji. Posee onsen, muy destacable ese servicio. Las instalaciones son antiguas y los muebles algo desgastados. Las habitaciones comodas, con buenas ventanas. Hay una cocina con microondas y hielo de uso comun, ademas de laundry con monedas. Tiene amplios salones de estar con sillones y vistas al lago, en un ambiente de calidez. El personal se esfuerza en hacer sentir comodo al huesped. Tiene servicio de shuttle bus din cargo desde y hacia la estacion. Brindan un apetitoso desayuno tradicional que es optativo y un poco caro. Ideal para los amantes de lo vintage y para salir de los hoteles cadena.

Los muebles estaban bastante usados y desgastados, asi como los tapizados, necesistando renovacion

Die Lage direkt am See mit wunderbarem Ausblick aus dem Zimmer, das Observatorium mit Fuji Blick, es war ruhig, die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Das Wasser beim Duschen wurde nicht so richtig heiß. Das Wlan hat meistens nicht funktioniert.
