Cons:

We decided to stay only one night instead of the two we had originally booked. This was our own decision, and we did not ask for a refund.
Although the property is in a great location, our experience was disappointing. The room was very dusty, and there were many mosquitoes because the windows had no insect screens. We understand that sleeping on a futon is part of the traditional Japanese experience, and this was not our first time sleeping on one during our trip. However, this futon seemed to be of poor quality, and it was extremely uncomfortable. As a result, we had the worst night's sleep of our entire trip to Japan.
Overall, the property seems to be in need of some renovation and better maintenance. With some improvements, it could be a much more enjoyable place to stay, especially given its excellent location.

good location but service should be taken care of more
Pros:

location is good, ìn front of the lake so beautiful to walk in morning. there is a good cafe and french bakery nearby very convenient for breakfast.

Cons:

the hotel is old and there are alot of big ants on the curtains which was there when we arrived. And in the morning there are big tractors working in the garden in front of the cottage which was noisy and scary, that was not informed to us.

Stanza ampia e silenziosa, ma un po’ datata. Colazione alla giapponese ottima e servita. Ogni giorno hanno cambiato il menù.
Personale gentile. Ottimo il servizio shuttle da e per stazione. All’ultimo piano osservatorio per vedere il monte Fiji, tempo permettendo.

Pros:

Jako, je vidět, že hotel již zažil lepší časy, ale své doby to muselo být neskutečné místo a to stále platí - ano, nábytek je trochu ošuntělý, ale pořád to má skvělý vize. Výhled na Mt. Fuji je super, onsen na jedničku. Možnost dopravy z a do hotelu. Krásné místo u jezera.

Cons:

Některé skvrny na koberci, něco už by fakt chtělo vyměnit.

It was fantastic, staff were lovely and attentive.location amazing, view from onsen and lookout in the hotel were unique and beautiful. Shuttle from bus station was great, took it both ways, the free pool and older part if the hotel which used to be a castle.cheap laundry

Brilliant location! Right by the lake. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Helped us take the luggage to the room and to the shuttle on day of check out.

Cons:

Little flys in room - granted it’s right by the lake so this is understandable.

Bathroom had a funky smell - may have been from the shower curtain? This was stained and had brown marks on.
