Everything was good except the bedroom emergency light (see below)
The green light on the emergency light on the ceiling was extremely bright and above the bed. This made it difficult to sleep.
Location
Staff particularly room service staff were godsmackingly bad. Got orders wrong every single time, got billed for other peoples orders. And they were very unapologetic.
Check your bill carefully.
We stayed 4 nights and had 2 rooms which were only given a partial clean each day. Still had to ask then to come empty bins and replace milk etc.
All staff were exceptional especially the receptionist.
The ironing board was broken.
Nice rooms and bar and restaurant
Room was a bit cold even if we put on air conditioning. Shower was weak water pressure.
Fantastic room and staff
Nothing
We got upgraded to a junior suite which is stunning and topped off my husbands 60th birthday
Nothing
Food very good both dinner and breakfast. Good location. Very clean. Helpful staff.
Very comfortable room. Good location convenient to the town centre. Staff were great 👍.
When we tried to include the £50 holding deposit for damages, the system didn't recognise our Irish postcode. This meant having to pay upfront. We were quickly refunded but it was a little frustrating. I'm not sure if all non UK visitors have the same issue.
It’s very good
Nothing really.
We had our wedding reception hear and everything from start to finish was perfect. Staff, food and setting were all amazing.
Nothing.
The room was really fantastic, best bathroom ever and the bed and furniture were great as was the mini bar and tea/coffee.
Parking included and plenty of room. Breakfast was included and very nice and overall great value given what we paid.
We would definitely stay there again.
We might have had the table d'hote menu, but whilst reasonable value, the drink prices, especially wine were ridiculous (over £50 for a NZ Sauvignon blanc as an example), so we went to a local pub instead.
Hotel was better than photos with a lovely reception area. Very clean comfortable room. Good breakfast selection with friendly staff serving.
Poor staff at breakfast were extremely busy and struggled to keep clearing tables and serving. Despite this they were very cheery and apologetic and did their best. The young lady who served us (Sunday 8th) was lovely and should be praised for her efforts
