Fantastic location on a small island within walking distance to qanat quartier and Gewan Island.
Our room was large and airy with a hugh balcony to relax in.
The poolside and beach were excellent. Their warm jacuzzi was great for this time of year. A big shoutout to Chamonde, the lifeguard at the beach who was always welcoming us with a smile.
Breakfast was excellent. A big shout out to Chef Talal who especially made an effort to prepare an Indian breakfast for us, Masala Dosa. Thank you so much. Plus packed us cut, exotic fruits for our journey home.
Worth staying at this resort, very child friendly too. Happy atmosphere. Absolutely loved my stay.
My third time here, unfortunately not my choice.
This time even worse than the previous.
Last night below my room’s balcony at 4am there was a truck parked (engine on) with people loading and off loading metal and wooden pieces, screaming and throwing stuff. I called the reception in the middle of the night complaining about it and they finally stopped at 05:05am when I had to wake up.
I find this attitude completely unacceptable and disrespectful for a hotel of this level, or at least what it should be. I reported this 3 times during the night and later on to the general manager.
Again I would like to hi-light how this hotel is pretending to be something that is not, unfortunately, it’s old and needs some renovation and better attention (pictures attached) a part of miss management.
My wife and I had a fantastic time at Marsa Malaz Kempinski. The service was truly extraordinary, making us feel special throughout our stay. A huge shoutout to Chef Talal, who made our breakfast experience so much better by surprising us with some delicious extra goodies! It’s these personal touches that make a difference. Highly recommended!
Ourbstay was really nice . Sandy was amazing she was really helpful always smiling and helping us out. We truely enjoyed and will sirely revisit and stay at kempinski.

If there were six stars, I’d give them all to the team at Kempinski The Pearl. From the moment I arrived, it felt less like checking into a hotel and more like being welcomed into a beautifully run kingdom.
The facilities were immaculate. What really impressed me was how practical the layout of the hotel was - everything was exactly where you needed it to be. You didn’t need to trek through endless corridors just to get to breakfast, the pool, or the spa/gym. It’s surprisingly rare for a luxury property of this scale to feel so well thought out and easy to navigate - that made a real difference to the overall experience.
The half board menu at Public House was generous, enough to satisfy even the most enthusiastic foodie. Breakfast was equally outstanding.
What truly stood out, though, was the people. Every member of staff worked tirelessly, yet always with a smile. I even had the pleasure of meeting a few of the directors and to my surprise and delight, they weren’t tucked away in offices they were right there on the floor, sleeves rolled up, leading by example. It’s not every day you see senior management literally getting stuck in.
A heartfelt thank you to Nisrine Karouach, Guest Relations Manager, who went above and beyond to accommodate a special request — a gesture that was extremely memorable and made a lasting impression. And although all the staff were lovely and hardworking, I also want to give a special mention to Thunn, Walid, and Chef Moza from Public House, who were consistently attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make each meal an absolute pleasure, as well as to Pasan, the lifeguard, whose friendly and professional manner made time by the pool all the more enjoyable.
Lastly, a warm thank you to Sarah and her lovely colleague at the Kids Club, whose warmth, patience and energy made our children feel completely at home — they turned playtime into one of the highlights of our stay.
To sum it up: Kempinski didn’t just deliver luxury — they delivered heart.
A truly fantastic hotel offering outstanding facilities throughout. From the moment we arrived, the standard of service was exceptional. The breakfast experience in particular stood out, with Chef Talal going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. He was incredibly attentive, warm, and genuinely accommodating to the needs of my entire family, making each morning both relaxed and memorable. His professionalism and personal touch significantly enhanced our stay, and we would not hesitate to return.

I had a really nice stay at Kempinski The Pearl Qatar, and I wanted to mention the great service from Camilla during my visit. She was friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to from the start, and whenever we had questions she was always there to help. She also checked in a few times to make sure everything was going smoothly, which added a really comfortable, personal touch to the stay.
The hotel itself is beautiful and very relaxing, but having staff like Camilla who genuinely look after guests makes the experience even better. Thanks to her and the team for a pleasant and enjoyable stay. I would be happy to return.

This place was delightful when we were exhausted Incredible service from Waled and the head chef at breakfast who made us french toast and some Arabic street food . All the food was delicious and staff were super friendly.

Extra large and comfortable rooms with comfortable beds and big balcony with a good view of the garden n sea. Super large bathrooms with dressing area.
Complimentary breakfast with a large array of hot and cold items to enjoy a sumptuous breakfast. A no of restaurants inside the hotel.

After a few crazy weeks back to working life here in London, I have finally had some time to sit down and write this review during the Christmas holidays for our stay at the Kempinski.
Dubai is usually my go-to destination for a quick Middle East getaway, and I tend to stick with the Jumeirah hotel chain. However, after my brother stayed at the Kempinski Doha back in February and strongly recommended it, I decided it was finally time to give it a try.
I’ve stayed in Doha before with family and had often driven past the Kempinski, admiring how beautiful it looked from the outside, so I was genuinely excited to experience it for myself — and I’m so glad I did.
I stayed for the first time with my husband and we were absolutely delighted. The hotel is exactly the standard I love, and we honestly couldn’t fault a single thing. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. The staff were absolutely delightful, and the Lady in Red concept is such a charming touch especially when they even call your room introducing themselves as Lady in Red.
The rooms are stunning. Even though we had one of the standard rooms, it was beautifully designed with a lovely view. I particularly loved the interior design and the walk-in wardrobe concept flowing into the bathroom, elegant and very well thought out.
A huge thank you and special mention to Elber, who made our experience exceptional from the very start at check-in. His polite nature, helpful demeanour, and the way he continued to check in on us throughout our stay truly made all the difference. Experiences like this are what make guests want to return. If management is reading this, having staff members like Elber genuinely adds immense value to the hotel because it’s not just the property itself, but the people that truly elevate the experience.
The interior throughout the hotel is delightful, and there is a small private beach area which is perfect for relaxing and unwinding.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve already decided to return in 2026, this time bringing my parents with us.
The location is excellent and getting around is incredibly easy with taxis or Uber readily available.
Another thank you to Gerald at the beach area, who was very helpful, polite, and approachable. Also, Nisha and Sumitra from housekeeping were wonderful and attentive to every extra request we had.
The outdoor pool was a little cold considering the time of the year however we had the option of using the spa sauna steam and pool area which were separate for men and women- great for me as I observe the Hijab. The spa area was beautiful, clean and had other facilities such as dressing area, relaxation room and etc
I’m truly glad I ventured out and tried the Kempinski chain , it may be our new favourite!
