Great hotel in the perfect location close to the Old City and to the Flame Towers.

The room was very comfortable and clean.

The staff was very helpful, polite and friendly, so they make my vacation a great experience.

I would like to highlight the staff of the reception, fantastic guys that help me a lot. When one of the youngest members (17 y/o) shows that high level of professionalism, it s evident the hotel is doing a fantastic job

Comfortable bed, good breakfast

We recently stayed at Sapphire Inn, and overall, it was a good experience. The most notable advantage of this property is its prime location—within walking distance of the Old City, Nizami Street, and several other key tourist attractions in Baku.

The hotel staff were consistently courteous, polite, and welcoming throughout our stay. Due to a flight cancellation, we had to extend our visit, and the team went out of their way to ensure we were well taken care of during this period. That said, at times it did appear that the hotel was understaffed, which occasionally impacted service efficiency.

The rooms are reasonably spacious and can comfortably accommodate an additional adult. While the property is not luxurious or high-end, it offers adequate comfort for travelers seeking convenience and value.

There are, however, areas that could benefit from improvement. Carpet cleanliness, as well as electrical and plumbing fittings, require attention. Additionally, the quality of housekeeping could be enhanced to better meet guest expectations.

In summary, Sapphire Inn offers a good stay experience, especially for those prioritizing location and hospitality. With a few upgrades, it has the potential to deliver even greater value to its guests.

A small hotel in a good location with friendly staff

Great experience. Had a lovely time staying here. Staff was very kind and helpful and made sure we were taken care of. Location is great it is close to many of the best tourist spots just a walk away. Recommend. Hotel can improve cleanliness! Abdulali was very kind to us!

We recently spent a wonderful week at the Sapphire Inn Hotel in Baku, Azerbaijan, and it felt like home thanks to the exceptional staff, especially the receptionist Khaver!

Khaver's warm welcome, attentive care, and expert recommendations made our stay truly unforgettable. The staff were always pleasant and ensured our comfort and satisfaction.
The room was spacious and had comfortable beds , sheets and towels freshly changed every day ,
and a lovely spacious bathroom .

One point though carpets need a good deep clean 😁

During my stay there was only first day when the towels were changed, later no. I had to use the same towels.
No cleaning of the room.
It may be clean when you check in, but every day you will find only bed settled, all the other points are not changed: the floor remained dirty for three days, the towels were not changed, not always may be ordered meal for the room service due the absence of chef or absence of requid ingredients (in this case chef and menu shall be refreshed).
One of the important points: no ramp outside. If you have a heavy suitcase you will have to enjoy the activity “carry your heavy bag yourself”.
There were nobody when I checked in and checked out in the lobby who could help to bring the luggage to the room when check in or outside when checking out.

the hotel could use a renovation

Excellent staff, helpful and nice. Room was not up to an executive room standard. Dirty carpet with lots of stains, falling curtains, door electronic card not working, had to use a normal key. House keeping, comes in the room to change towels and sheets but never clean anything else. Bathroom amenities were missing, such as Bathrobes. Bedroom missing Blackout drapes as it's mentioned.
It says hotel is connected to a shopping mall, which is not true.

The worst experience ever I had with the hotel especially of such level.
The room which was provided to us was just unacceptable for the stay, dirty bedsheets, hair everywhere, used bath amenities, and what is more disgusting 🤢 is toilet. No words to say, you may just see the photo. I would NEVER EVER RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone to stay even if you have no choice. Hostels are serving better. The AC was not working as well, and it was the problem with the switch. For our complain the hotel stuff just shrug. And they refused for the refund. Seriously? After such experience? I wish I saw all these reviews before, because surprisingly the rating in booking.com is good. You do not even worth 1 ⭐️

Top location. Reception inefficiënt . Waited more than a hour for our room. Carpets were dirty . Used cups in our room not replaced. Room on one day not serviced by 16.00. Towels worn and rundown.
Complains to reception had no effect.
Breakfast was good.

I have stayed at the Sapphire Inn with groups on various occasions over the past few years, and unfortunately, the standards have been declining with each stay. Every time, I hoped it would improve because it would be a shame to let such a promising place go to ruin. The hotel has a perfect location, space and good facilities, but it lacks effective management.

The front desk systems and staff are disorganized, making check-in a nightmare. Housekeeping is understaffed and unmotivated, while the breakfast staff are more interested in personal conversations than providing good service (though the breakfast food itself is quite good). The few staff members who do try hard are not supported by colleagues and the necessary systems to succeed.

The room carpets are dirty and stained, with no apparent effort to clean them over the years. During our last stay, housekeeping did not service the rooms during the day as a standard practice. We occupied 10 rooms, so we have a reliable basis for this observation. Upon returning in the late afternoon, it took significant effort from guests to get housekeeping to take action.

Sadly, I can no longer consider staying at this hotel in the future. This is a heartfelt call to whoever is in charge to take action and save this potentially great hotel.

Very unkempt place and an unhelpful staff. The carpets were dirty. This made us to shift out of the hotel.

Forgot our mobile charger in the room. No one was willing to assist when the reception was approached.

Horrible experience of our entourage.

A reasonably priced hotel centrally located. Clean with pleasant, helpful, English-speaking staff. It served it 's purpose well enough. Decent breakfast. Came here with a tour and opted to stay here the extra nights. Comfortable beds and big bathroom.

The friendliest staff wants to make our stay so enjoyable. The beds are comfortable, the cleaning crew left our room fresh and sparkling every day. The bathroom is spacious and modern. The breakfast was delicious and had something new every day. The only negative is that the air conditioning was not on in the hotel until our last night, so we slept with windows open.

This is an average hotel and i would start with the god points

1. The location is perfect almost in the city center and you have wine shops to grocery shops and restaurants all in walking distance
2. The staff is very pleasant and hard working and ready to help
3. The 24 hour bar is averagely priced
4. it is not over crowded

bad experiences

Since we visited in April it was just the change from winters to spring season so the AC is set to winter mode and the rooms get pretty hot at night and we had to keep the window a little open to get some sleep.
