Ma Maison Phuket

The people who clean and look after the guests are amazing, polite, friendly and helpful.
The one thing that attracted me to stay here was the connivence of a pool - disappointed it’s not maintained - flowers and leaves floating on top and mud and grit at the bottom. Not inviting at all.
The room is very tired, needs updating urgently. The luggage rack was broken, the safe key wouldn’t work and the lady had to give us the code to use instead - not very professional and she said there was 2 other people that had the code. Thankfully we were only staying 2 nights. The bed was comfortable. The place was spotlessly clean.
If you don’t like loud live music, probably not the best place to stay as it is attached to a restaurant who does this.

Ma Maison was a great stay. Mid price range, excellent location, fantastic pool. The rooms could use a little TLC, but great value for the price!

Jerome, Monia and the Staff at Ma Maison could not have been more helpful or friendly. The hotel is perfectly located within 100m from the beach. The rooms are clean, well maintained and have huge beds! The breakfast was lovely (we picked the same omelette each morning) and the coffee fantastic. I can not recommend Ma Maison enough. We will stay here again.

Very nice proprietor. It's not a high end establishment, but it's super clean and well run by nice folks and wonderful for the price.

The hotel was great. Small and yet nearby the beach. There is anything out neer nearby as massage, food, 7-11 and motorcycle rental. I don't like bit crowded hotels so this fit me extremely well. The manager lady was super nice. Cleaned the room each day, fixed a small damage on ceiling same day without me even have to tell. She helped me rent a motorcycle, gave me coffee, ordered taxi and was just like Mama. This area is a bit away from the large tourists areas which I welcome.

My stay at Ma Maison was only 2 days but it was a great location!! WiFi was awesome, aircon very good, pool was delectable. Easy check in/out, daily room service, all for a very budget price. Room is small, but as I was traveling alone that was no dramas for me. Thank you Ma Maison!

I have read some poor reviews about this place but having stayed here , I would happily come back any time. Staff are relaxed, friendly and helpful. You can hire a bike or transport from here and the room is serviced every day. The pool is warm and we'll maintained and really lovely. Don't be put off by being close to the road , it is quiet at night and easy to sleep. Highly recommended :)

Great experience, very good cost quality. Well situated and very practical.

No frills here, no chair, no hand towels, no closet, and minimal counter space. We were assigned an upstairs room with the ceiling sloping down to about 4 feet, it was obvious from cracks that many people had banged their heads trying to maneuver. I think the price we paid was too much for what we got, although the AC worked well, the bed was comfortable, and there is a nice pool. Be sure to request a first floor room.

There is no reception, Peter the owner greets you and shows you to your room. unfortunately our flight that was supposed to land at 10:20 pm was very late, and we didn't end up arriving until 2:30am, and Peter waited for us to get there, we were very thankful! It's in a great location, close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The rooms are very comfortable and all open up onto the pool area. It has a great vibe, I wish we could've stayed longer!

Description better than reality. On arriving was met by Peter who was friendly and check in easy. The room itself was small, the duvet had a burn mark on it and the bathroom smelled like sewage. The shower is right next to the toilet so not ideal for some. Clean towels though. Stayed one night only. Felt like a back packer place, but bar next door was full of old western men drinking beer, smoking and watching football. Dingy massage parlours on the door step. Karaoke in same said bar from 7:30 pm which was awful and really loud. Checked out next day with no refund offered, apparently because booked through Expedia. Unsavoury part of Phuket. Would not recommend it to others.

Good value. Clean room. Nice pool. Close to the beach, 7/11 and a few restaurants! I would definitely recommend this place!
