Hotel Macola

Small town not too far from Plitvice Lakes. Across the street couple of cafes/restaurants. Grocery store in the lower level of the hotel. Nice view of the mountains from the balcony.

Hôtel très agréable, accueil chaleureux et emplacement facile d’accès (parc national à proximité en voiture, supermarché en bas de l’hôtel, fast food et boulangerie en face de l’hôtel …).
Seul inconvénient, parfois l’hôtel sent le tabac en raison des personnes fumant à l’intérieur.

Located near Plitvice Lakes, it is a great place to stay for those wanting to visit the lakes (I would recommend having a rental car though).

Staffis was friendly, food in restaurant was very bed and little bit farway of Plitvicki ezera.

De kamer en het hotel waren netjes en schoon. De douche vond ik te klein.

Prekrivaci su bez navlake (slifera).Ispod prekrivaca je podvucena plahta za jednu osobu tako da veci dio prekrivaca dolazi u kontakt sa tijelom,sto je neprihvatljivo i nehigjenski s obzirom da vise ljudi koristi isti prekrivacem.

Das Hotel lag sehr günstig zum Nationalpark Plitvicer Seen, im Ort gab es diverse Möglichkeiten zum Essen. Im Hotel selbst war das Abendessen leider unmöglich aufgrund riesiger Gruppen asiatischer Touristen, die den Speisesaal "fluteten" und für Einzelreisende kein Platz mehr liessen.

Great location for the Plitvice National Park. Helpful staff, good breakfast, parking available, connecting super market, petrol station further up the road. Ideal for those on a road trip around Croatia like we were!

- Helaas is niet altijd het ontbijt tot 11:00 en wordt er eerder opgeruimd. (09:30 al) als iedereen is geweest.

Vi besøgte Plitvicka National parken med mere. Hotellet var en meget fin base for dette besøg. Den rigtige service, både værelse, personale og restaurant, til den rigtige pris.

Prima hotel voor een bezoek aan de plitvice meren.

Het hotel heeft een leuk terras waar je iets kan eten en drinken. Voor de rest is er niet veel in de omgeving te doen.

Abbastanza soddisfatto servizio buono personale competente

Personale gentile e disponibile; Colazione monotona; Area fumatori adiacente alle camere e senza aerazione; Cabina doccia alquanto rovinata; Tv senza alcun programma italiano. Se non si hanno molte pretese e con un minimo di cure in più, può essere passabile.

You're not being served in the restaurant if you're aline and there is a large group coming in. You'll just have to wait....
The breakfast is a disgrace. How difficult is it to bake off bread such that is has a nice and crusty outside??
The rooms... the sheets are not large enough to cover the matras...

We had booked 2 nights at another place but after one night there, we looked quickly for a new place to stay for our second night as the place was not to our liking. Hotel Macola was convenient for the purpose of our trip which was to visit the Plitvice National Park. We did have a car and it was a 20 minute drive to the waterfalls. There was free parking and the hotel staff were friendly and hospitable. We felt so relieved to find this place as it was so convenient.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Free wifi, good in lobby but not reliable in room. Clean and comfortable. Recommended to have breakfast early before items run out.

Good place to stop after a visit to Plitvice National Park. Enjoyed our night at hotel and was glad I didn't have to drive back to one one the major cities after a day in the park. Everything you need is at the hotel. Restaurant, Cafe, bar, and supermarket.
