The restaurant was closed.
The air conditioner was broken and barely cooled the room.
Centrally located.
Garden area very nice and enjoyable.
Coffee was excellent.
Staff were very accommodating.
Love the staff, and the grounds, proximity to downtown.
Rm 42 was a little hot, a ceiling fan might help the AC a little bit, or at least some fans.
The curtains probably could close a little better, it was easy to see in the room if you wanted.
Location! Simple yet comfortable room, lobby and overall the views and atmosphere. Pool is a must staff friendly informative and nice.
We loved the nostalgia of the hotel.
It’s a beautiful place.
We liked the antique feel and the courtyard by the restaurant.
The service was poor. It was just frustrating to get clean towels or new paper cups for in-room coffee.
Wonderful historic building, beautiful peaceful town
What sells Hotel Limpia was the ambiance. A real, historical hotel in a real, historical location. A lot of original touches. Creaky floors, tinned ceilings, clerestories, etc. "Not modern" in an authentic and charming sense.
The hot water in the shower was hard to adjust. Not the fault of the hotel staff, but the initial recommendation they gave for a restaurant (The Rendezvous) was a bust; we waited for a half-hour with no service and so just left. Hotel staff explained that, sadly, that was not unusual; hard to get enough help to service customers properly.
Nothing. Our room was across the street from the actual hotel, where we have stayed many times and lived. This was a rundown room. No decor whatsoever. Shabby, ugly and difficult to get to with poorly constructed stairway. We won’t be back. The restaurant was closed until further notice. What a huge disappointment.
See above.
Loved this hotel steeped in history. Wonderful friendly staff. Barbara is a total gem! 🤩
Staff were very nice. Great location.
Great location. Super nice staff. Relaxing court yard. Very large and comfortable suite.
Some of the rooms could use an upgrade. Just my way of for instance in the suite we are in the lights really need to be upgraded.
Beautiful, clean, historic.
