Royal Agate Beach Resort

It was very convenient to find food options around the area as well as to get supplies. There is only 1 small lift for the whole hotel though so sometimes you have to take the shelterless staircase at the side.

Water takes a while to heat up but still decent. Overall still a pleasant experience.

Room was extremely spacious than expected (Family Deluxe), with proximity to the mall and the nearby beach. A few convenience stores and souvenir shops along the street.

Staff very flexible with my requests: at reception and cleaning - supplies, etc. As this was during low season, suggest modifying roof top dining to all day a la carte menu. Met a well-traveled guest like me who shared this opinion.

It's not a beach resort so don't be deceived by the name. It's located across the beach road so it's not on the beach. The windows are in front of the windows of the adjacent building so there's no privacy. The swimming pool looks dirty. Overall, it's an average hotel but the location is convenient

Late check in. Not safe area to store bags while waiting. Front desk staff was amazing. Zero onaite perks for Gold.

It was what we expected. Simple and clean.

It is located within walking distance to Cenang beach and lots of dining options available around the area. the parking at the back of hotel is very convenient for those who have rented a car.

only few things.
(1) 1 lift only for whole of hotel.
(2) Only found room with balcony very attractive. It had beautiful sea views.
(3) Although it was free parking sharing with another hotel the parking slots were limited.
Apart from the above we truly recommend this hotel. this was our third time stay and won’t be our last.

Overall stay was OK. The bed needs to be changed as you can feel the spring of the bed.

Good location and height, giving me a lovely view if the beach and the town below. Cleaning staff is a nice and friendly man. The room is spacious. My only suggestion is, the hotel should add some hooks on the wall so that guests can hang clothes etc.

Good hotel. Just the surrounding is noisy & very limited rooms with sea view. & don't put high hopes on the rooftop restaurant. I heard they speak Thai. but was surprised that the food quality isn't at par with Thai's. very small portion. omelette just simply egg. don't mix with anything. & pan cakes just a size of a saucer. lol!

Very convenient and the hotel's room space is very good for me and family.

Great location by beach and shops, staff kindly upgraded to Seaview room, enjoyed view of sea from room and balcony.

Room very clean . Staffs friendly and helpful. Just the rooftop cafe already changed to different cafeteria which is the decoration just normal view
