Pros:

This charming and friendly hotel is in the heart of Kochin and is extremely good value for money. The lady on the front desk was charming and very helpful. If you need a pharmacy, there’s one next door and they speak enough English to be able to help you. The town is friendly, with great shops and the Tuk Tuk drivers will often give you some info.

Pros:

Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is a former spice owner's house and is beautifully designed. Situated in the culturally diverse and interesting area of Mattancherry it is only a short Tuk Tuk ride or walk from the main tourist area

Pros:

A beautifully renovated historic building with all mod cons. Located about 10 minutes by scooter taxi from the main tourist attractions. In a busy commercial street but quiet courtyard.

Nice property with new inexperienced management
Pros:

Our group of 6 stayed for one night in December. Originally booked for 3 deluxe rooms, we were upgraded to the super delux rooms.

We liked : room size, beds were comfortable, bedding was good, towels good, over all cleanliness was good. The food in the resturant tasted good but many items on the menu were not available.

Improvement areas: need shower curtain, hot water for showers, hooks or fixtures in bathrooms for handing hand towels, more outlets, table lamps on night stands, address mosquitos in rooms, and most importantly stable and available wifi. For the resturant, breakfast was included with our stay. The food was decent. The staff tried very hard to please.

If theses improvements are made, this hotel can offer a very comfortable stay in a unique building with lots of character and history . Location is good. We walked to Dutch Palace in about 12 minutes.
