Hyatt House Naples 5th Avenue

Ein wirklich empfehlenswertes Hotel in Naples, direkt am Hafen.
Wir hatten eine kleine Suite mit Blick auf den Hafen, die uns jeden Morgen wundervolle Sonnenaufgänge ermöglichte.
Das Frühstück ist für amerikanische Verhältnisse sehr gut, es gab mehrere Sorten frisches und wirklich leckeres Obst, neben den üblichen Bagels, Marmelade, peanutbutter, creamcheese, Rührei, bacon …
Ein ausreichend großer Frühstücksraum, aber noch viel schöner war das Frühstücken auf der Terrasse.
Das Hotel liegt in der Einflugschneise (Endteil) des Airports Napels und flugbegeisterte Menschen können hier wirklich oft den Landeanflug der Learjets verfolgen.

Gostei muito das acomodações, camas e instalações. Banheiro espaçoso. Estacionamento cobrado, mas com a praticidade de estacionar no próprio local. Café da manhã maravilhoso, com muitas opções gostosas. Área de lazer muito linda, piscina ampla, deck aconchegante.

Location

The hotel is in an excellent location for walking into town, has a very large onsite car park with very reasonable daily rates , the hotel is modern, room quality is very good with excellent in room facilities such as a fridge, freezer, breakfast bar, sink, dishwasher and microwave, everything needed to be self sufficient. Beds are large and comfortable and the rooms we had contained a good size balcony. In our room the lounge area was light and airy with good views of the harbour and pool area. The hotel was clean and well maintained especially around the areas of higher use such as the pool and the gym. The main thing I would enhance, would be the seating area for breakfast which could be expanded, at peak times it was sometimes difficult to get a table in the main dining area. The house keeping service was generally very good with rooms serviced everyday with fresh towels. The hotel even had a good sized laundry on our floor in case that was required. I'd also invest in adding a few additional pieces of equipment into the gym such as additional bikes or rowing machines to expand choice and variety as when a few people came into the gym it got a little crowded. Overall a very enjoyable trip and this was one of the best hotels we stayed in throughout our 15 day trip to Florida this summer.

The hotel has an excellent location, just a short walk from Fifth Avenue, making it very convenient for restaurants and shopping. The property is nice overall, and the rooms have a spacious kitchen, although the refrigerator is surprisingly small for the size of the kitchen. Unfortunately, the customer service was very disappointing. We spent quite a while at the pool and never received any service, so we had to walk into the bar to place our order and waited about 15 minutes before anyone came to help us. When I finally ordered, the employee asked how many people were in our group and then told me I was ordering too much food, which made me change my mind and not order a salad that I actually wanted. Ironically, when the food arrived, the portions were small. To make matters worse, no one told us our food was ready; they simply left it on a table outside on the terrace, where many other guests were sitting, and never notified us. We only realized it was our order because I recognized the plates as they were being brought out. Breakfast also needs improvement. If you want warm milk, it’s difficult because only cold milk is available and heating it is inconvenient. There are also long lines to find a table, and when we asked the staff for help, they simply told us to look outside to see if we could find one, without any courtesy or willingness to assist. I do want to recognize the housekeeping staff, who were consistently kind, friendly, and professional throughout our stay. Overall, the hotel has an excellent location and nice facilities, but the customer service—especially at the pool, bar, and breakfast area—needs significant improvement.
