Pros:

The location is great and for the city the rooms are quite spacious

Cons:

The room was situated by the elevator which was quite noisy and made it difficult to sleep

Pros:

The size of the room was great.
The location is fantastic. Times Square, lots of shops and Central park are in very easy walking distance.

Cons:

The room could do with a bit of updating, the televisions in particular. Bits overall, very good.

Mangelhafte Service
Pros:

Traumhafte Aussicht, aber mangelhafter Service und Kälte-Odyssee
Das Positive: Lage und Sauberkeit
Die Lage des Hotels ist absolut perfekt – alles ist fußläufig erreichbar und der Ausblick auf den Central Park war traumhaft. Ein großes Lob geht an die Sauberkeit; das Zimmer war zu 100 % rein. Besonders erwähnen möchte ich das Zimmermädchen Mischel, die einen Top-Service geleistet hat und sehr nett war.

Traumhafte Aussicht, aber mangelhafter Service und Kälte-Odyssee

Das Negative: Absurdes Konzept und mangelnder Komfort.
Leider war der Aufenthalt trotz des hohen Preises (2.700 € für 6 Tage) eine Enttäuschung. Ich habe eine Suite für 3 Personen gebucht, doch das Hotel scheint nicht auf drei Gäste ausgelegt zu sein:
• Schlafsofa-Desaster: Das Sofa war bei Ankunft nicht vorbereitet. Nach einem langen Flug mussten wir uns selbst darum kümmern.
• Kälte im Zimmer: Bei Außentemperaturen von 10 °C war die Heizung zentral auf 18–19 °C begrenzt. Erst nach vier Tagen wurde die Heizung im Haus endlich hochgefahren.
• Decken-Mangel: Für die dritte Person gab es nur eine dünne Wolldecke. Mehrfache Bitten an der Rezeption und beim Housekeeping (HSK) wurden mit Ausreden abgeblockt („alle Decken in der Wäsche“, „Konzept sieht keine Bettdecken für Sofas vor“).
• Unwürdige Zustände: Ich musste die erste Nacht in meiner Winterjacke im Bett schlafen! Es dauerte drei Tage und ein Gespräch mit dem Manager, bis wir endlich eine normale Bettdecke erhielten.
Fazit
Es ist unbegreiflich, dass man in einem 4-Sterne-Hotel als dritter Gast in einer Suite wie ein „Gast zweiter Klasse“ behandelt wird (kein Bademantel, keine richtige Decke). Das Personal ist zwar nett, scheint aber durch starre und gastunfreundliche Regeln des Managements blockiert zu sein. Erst die letzten zwei Tage konnten wir genießen. Wer Wert auf Wärme und Service für alle gebuchten Personen legt, sollte sich hier zweimal überlegen zu buchen.

Pros:

Can't beat the location of this hotel. Easy walk to Central Park, Broadway, restaurants, train station, etc. The room was spacious, good value for families with little kids.

Cons:

Elevators are undergoing construction. Hotel was good about communicating this but expect a wait when going to/from your room

The lack of heating spoiled my stay. I was given blankets but I was still cold.

Pros:

Muy céntrico, camas cómodas, dos habitaciones, dos baños, máquina del café, nevera y microondas.

Cons:

Preparar el sofá cama 40 $ extra, cristales sin insonorización, sirenas en la calle 24H, no calefacción disponible después de una determinada fecha, ascensores rotos.

Decent experience, way overpriced for $500/night
Pros:

Nice and friendly personnel. Good location.

Cons:

The room was OK, but there was no second cover, so the person sleeping on the extensible sofa had to use a thin blanket, and it was cold.

The bath tub was clogged, so by the end of the shower I was in half a foot of puddle.

Elevators came very infrequently since they were reworking them - we had to wait literally for 10 minutes to catch one that wasn't full.

Not OK for $500/night.
