We love Nomade. The yoga classes are phenominal and they are so welcoming to children. The food is fresh, delicious, and creative. The breakfast is our favorite meal of the day at Nomade! The Yann spa across the street is beautiful and all the therapists are skilled and so kind. We will keep coming here for years to come!
Fantastic😍
Nothing
We had a wonderful time — special thanks to Ricardo for his remarkable service.
We had a wonderful stay at Nomade! Gorgeous setting, delicious food and beautful accommodation. But most of all the attentive and helpful service. Sofia and Ricardo went out of their way to make our stay truly relaxing and memorable! Thank you
This morning, my daughter and I joined Adrian’s yoga class at Nomade, and it was one of the best classes I’ve experienced. A beautiful blend of mindfulness, movement, and chanting, it felt like we were opening every channel of the body.
Adrian creates a deeply grounded yet expansive space, perfectly attuned to the setting and even the energy of the full moon. It wasn’t just a class—it was a wholesome, holistic experience we’ll remember.
Our stay at Nomade Temple Tulum was nothing short of magical — a place that goes far beyond a typical hotel experience and truly touches the soul.
From the very beginning, the concierge team made everything feel effortless. A heartfelt thank you to Ricardo and Sofia for their warm, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful support throughout our stay. Every detail was handled with such care.
The wellbeing team deserves special recognition, especially Sol and José. José, in particular, added such a personal touch to our experience and surprised us with a truly meaningful gift — something we will remember for a long time.
If you have the opportunity, do not miss booking a session with Federico for astrology and tarot. It was a deeply insightful and unique experience that added a completely different dimension to our stay.
Each morning was elevated by Pedro, whose joyful energy and genuine kindness made breakfast a highlight of the day. And at the beach, Mario was simply unforgettable — a true ray of sunshine, whose natural warmth and passion make it clear he was born for this role.
The Omakase dinner left us speechless — an extraordinary culinary journey that exceeded all expectations.
And finally, the Temazcal ceremony with Jimena and her brother was profoundly impactful. It was not just an experience, but something that stays with you long after you leave.
Nomade Temple Tulum is not just a destination — it’s a feeling, a transformation, and a place we will undoubtedly return to.
Worst experience of my life. This hotel is run by a group of ill skilled, rude, homophobic men that will do anything they can to ruin an experience they deem misaligned with their view of the world.
Our stay at Nomade Tulum was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely transported—like stepping into a serene, beautifully curated sanctuary where every detail is intentional and inspiring.
The atmosphere is effortlessly luxurious while still feeling grounded and soulful. The rooms are stunning—thoughtfully designed with natural textures, soft lighting, and an open-air feel that lets you fully connect with the surroundings.
The service was exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuine without ever feeling intrusive.
The food was incredible—fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor.
There’s a peaceful, almost spiritual vibe that encourages you to slow down, be present, and fully unwind.
We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already dreaming about our next visit.
So relaxing and well designed
I arrived at Nomade Hotel late at night at around 11:00 PM. As a European traveler, I was surprised to find that there were no power adapters available in the rooms, and the front desk also did not have any. I was offered the possibility to charge my phone at reception, but without the option to borrow a cable, which was not very practical.
As a result, I had to leave the hotel late in the evening to look for an adapter, which was inconvenient, especially given the lack of lighting and basic infrastructure in the area. In a hotel that hosts many international guests, this should be a basic standard.
A significant downside was the lack of “Do Not Disturb” signs. During my stay, staff entered the room multiple times, often early in the morning, which affected privacy and comfort. This is a basic feature that should not be missing at this level.
The beach experience was also far from relaxing. While lying on a sunbed, I was approached repeatedly by vendors throughout the day, which made it difficult to rest. The presence of barriers did not seem to be effective, as vendors were still able to walk through and approach guests freely.
There is no television in the rooms, which I understand is part of the hotel’s concept. Food is subjective, but aside from breakfasts, which were very good, the overall dining experience was inconsistent. There were also noticeable gaps in service, such as missing basic table items unless specifically requested.
The biggest issue during my stay was the front desk and concierge service. Communication was inconsistent, responses were often delayed or unclear, and several requests were either misunderstood or not delivered as agreed. This created unnecessary frustration throughout the stay.
Overall, the hotel is extremely loud, with daily events and music that carry across the entire property, including into the rooms. This may suit guests looking for a party atmosphere, but it makes it very difficult to rest or relax.
In my opinion, the service level does not match the price or positioning of the hotel. If you are choosing between options in this area, I would strongly recommend considering Casa Malca, which is located very close by and offers a noticeably more comfortable and better-organized experience.
The only clear advantage of Nomade is that smoking IQOS is permitted throughout the property.
Overall, the hotel is beautiful and we had a nice stay. The rooms are lovely and we appreciated being moved to a better room after some noise during our first night, so thank you for that. The breakfast was also a highlight of our stay.
However, I have to say that the welcome experience could be improved. The reception staff were not particularly warm or welcoming, and it was sometimes difficult to get information or assistance. In particular, the gentleman with tattoos at reception during our check-in did not feel very friendly or welcoming.
Macondo restaurant was unfortunately closed at dinner time during our stay, which was a bit disappointing.
On the other hand, the breakfast staff were excellent. All the waiters were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. They truly made our mornings special and were one of the best parts of the stay. The housekeeping team and most of the non-managerial staff were also excellent and very kind.
Interestingly, the few interactions we had with management staff did not feel as welcoming. There was also a staff member at the wellness area who wasn’t particularly friendly when we asked about the morning yoga class and taking a photo at the yoga shala.
That said, the main gentleman at the wellness center was fantastic. His energy was wonderful—always smiling and very helpful. He helped guide us through the Temazcal experience, which was definitely one of the highlights of our stay.
Overall, we really liked the hotel and its beautiful setting. My only suggestion would be to focus on making guests feel more welcome, especially through the reception and management staff. At this price range, a warmer and more attentive guest experience would make the stay truly exceptional.
Thank you.
We stayed at Nomade Tulum with our family and absolutely loved it. From the moment we arrived the whole experience was incredible. The rooms are gorgeous, the facilities are amazing, and the entire place has such a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere.
The food was delicious every meal we had was fantastic and the yoga and wellness offerings made the stay feel really special.
A huge thank you to our personal concierge Sofia, who was amazing. She helped us with everything we needed and made our stay so seamless.
Highly recommend Nomade if you’re coming to Tulum. We will definitely be back.
I really love spending time at Nômade. It’s such a beautiful space with a truly special energy that always makes the experience feel memorable. Every time I’m in Tulum, I make it a priority to visit, whether it’s to take different classes or attend one of their events. I’ve consistently had such positive experiences there, and the atmosphere always feels welcoming, inspiring, and thoughtfully curated. The staff are also incredible, warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, which makes every visit even more enjoyable.
Great location, private, clean rooms with amazing jungle / beach vibes. Room was big and immaculate everyday just steps from the beach
The front desk staff is a bit aloof, like they’re doing you a favor working there. I think that’s just Tulum in general where people think they’re better than they are? We referred to front desk guy as grumpy Gus cause every time we asked for even the smallest thing you’d think we asked him for an organ.
We had an amazing service by Miguel and her colleagues, the food was amazing and the place is paradise.
We will be back for sure
We had a lovely 3 day stay in the tree house, it was worth spending the extra money for a nice view and some sun in the afternoon. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is paradise and felt very tranquil. The breakfast is also amazing.
The bill always seemed to have extra charges so make sure you check. The taxis outside charge you 3 x extra than the apps.
Loved our stay - amazing beach atmosphere. Enjoyed reading on the beach. Great breakfast everyday - Miguel and Antonio took great care of us. Will be back.
