Great value, pleasant staff
Pros:

Staff was very polite and helpful.

Cons:

The shuttle is the last to get there of all the hotel shuttles. Waiting 45 minutes after a long trip is gruelling. That would be the only reason I would not return to this hotel.

This stay did not meet our expectations.
Pros:

We have stayed at the Wingate many times over the years. We always enjoyed the service and convenience.

Cons:

The room safe was not functioning.
There was no hot water in the room so it was not possible to have a comfortable shower. When we reported this to staff they remarked that they were aware of it and indicated that they had not remedied the situation. Why were we given this room when the staff was aware of the room’s shortcomings?

Pros:

Shuttle service was excellent and rooms very good. Only down side was not having a restaurant for supper.
Left before breakfast.
Would recommend it to others.

Excellent stay
Pros:

From the get-go, with the shuttle at the airport, the response was prompt, and the agent was polite and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and with optimum temperature, neither too hot nor too cold. The breakfast had more options, especially for vegetarians.

Cons:

At check-in, there was a brief delay because the staff had trouble finding my booking. I would have assumed that they would do that once the client calls for the shuttle. Also, at checkout, the staff was very robotic and not personable.

Cons:

The male shuttle driver left our suitcases on their wheels so every corner he took they slammed across the van back and forth. I would have expected him to pull over to fix the situation but he didn’t so the suitcases hit the side walls multiple times.
