32°C summer, lobby was air-conditioned but the room was not. (The info booklet in the room said the aircon was hooked up to the building's central air, so we weren't allowed to control it). Couldn't imagine trying to sleep there.
I had intended to stay at this hotel before moving somewhere else long-term, but ended up going to the other place immediately to sleep and using this hotel room as just a luggage staging area.

The location being close to the Cheongnyangni station was the reason for choosing this hotel.
The very small window that faced another wall of the building made the room somewhat claustrophobic. The floor to ceiling mirrors on 2 walls were distracting and when the room lights were on created a blinding effect. In the bathroom, the bathtub was stand alone and this caused a lot of splashes of water onto the floor between the wall and the bath tub which was not cleaned by housekeeping making the floor there very damp and dirty.
The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was lovely, fresh water bottles in the fridge daily.
The deluxe double was not as deluxe as I expected. No comfy chair to sit on, just two hard chairs or the bed.
It's close to the station, there are convenience stores and local food restaurants nearby, the hotel staff are friendly, and the cost performance is excellent. I would like to stay here again. The only downside is that there were a lot of fruit flies in the room, which disturbed my sleep. No matter how much I tried to get rid of them, there were still a lot of them.

The room was a decent size, everything was in good working order and condition, the bed was very comfortable.
It was surprising that a basic amenity kit wasn't provided in the room - it was available from a vending machine for 1500 kwn.
The nightly rate was a bit high for the area, but I wanted to be right by the metro station, and the hotel was literally just a crosswalk away.
This was listed as a "3-star hotel". It's actually just a slightly classier no-tell motel. Stained sheets, brown/white pillowcases, peeling chairs and walls, scuffed bathtub, dirty slippers, even the freaking HAIR DRYER was greasy on every surface. It was so bad, there was no point in complaining. What were they going to do? Book us a different hotel?
All of this is stuff that you could live with, if your expectations are properly set before you get there. However, they're really trying to glam this place up with a heavy coat of makeup, influencer hype, and lots of filters on their photos. This room was listed at $165/night during our stay, and it was about $100 too expensive in my opinion.
