Extremely small room but stunning lake view
Pros:

Ueno is a nice quieter part of Tokyo. This APA hotel is also opposite the train station which was important. The view over the lake from our room was the absolute highlight of our stay. It was beautiful. It was also nice to walk through the park and shrine there.

Cons:

The room and bathroom is extremely small even for just 2 normal size people. It’s fine for a night, we stayed 4 nights on our arrival and then at the end of our trip we stayed a second time for an additional 2 nights. We also expected the room to be serviced during our first 4 night stay, but it wasn’t.

This place is all about the location.
Pros:

The location of this hotel is fantastic. Close to the subway, train station and the shopping street. It is also literally just across the street from Ueno park which is a great place with museums and temples.

Cons:

The room we stayed in was tiny. I mean so small that only one person at a time can move around while the other has to sit on the bed.

Worth the money
Pros:

The room is larger than the one in Ueno. The facilities are superb, imagine having a 711 in the 4th floor and other amenities such as public bath... not yoo far from dotonburi. Will definitely be back.

Cons:

Not enough dryer and washing machine yo accomodate high peak season. Oh its cheaper if you book directly to them than this booking.com.

Pros:

Location just outside Ueno airport station.

Cons:

They don't clean the room everyday. Inspite expensive accommodation. Fluctuate wifi in the evening. Need to go lobby to ask reboot the modem. Cannot contact them in room phone.
