Room light on bed did not work. Sterile no art eork, nothing on walls, bed caused back ache, bath room amenities were very poorly place.

Our air conditioner made a loud noise all night. It kept us awake. We were very tired the next morning. We did inform the facility. It was a little better the second night.
Never I repeat NEVER go to this hotel. Checked in at 12:30am after a long travel day and was assigned to a room on the other side of the hotel WITH SOMEONE INSIDE. Went to front desk and was assigned to another room and guess what… SOMEONE WAS IN THAT ROOM TOO. Front desk didn’t care or apologize once. The first room the lights were off and luckily they didn’t wake up, the second room the lights were on so I’m sure they were freaked out. An absolute nightmare. Demanded a refund and checked in at the Hilton next door where the man at the front desk was as nice as can be and considerate of the situation. Went upstairs to double check that the room wasn’t occupied and BECAUSE THEY DO THEIR JOB it was vacant as expected WHEN YOU ARE ASSIGNED TO A HOTEL ROOM. I will NEVER stay at a Hilton garden inn and suites ever again. If I could give this place -10000000 stars I would.

Why did I rate this HGI as poor? Diamond level guests spend thousands on lodging and should expect something for their loyalty to the brand and this HGI location should certainly do better. Diamond members at this HGI location get a $10 dollar credit for food or beverage but what's that worth when two eggs, sausage, potatoes, and a piece of toast with tax and tip is $20??? Some would say, just have the continental breakfast instead since it’s free. This HGI location DOESN'T HAVE A CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST! Even Hampton Inn has free continental breakfast and most all other budget hotels provide that! Diamond level members spend thousands at Hilton brand hotels to reach that status, and this is the appreciation they get for staying at THIS Hilton Garden Inn location! I travel all over the country but for my next trip to Montgomery I don't know where I will be staying, but I certainly know where I don’t plan on staying! If you are a Diamond Member and you choose Hilton brand hotels like I always do, beware that the Hilton Garden Inn Montgomery Eastchase breakfast is in my opinion not a diamond level benefit at all! Diamond level at this hotel means nothing!
Location was good 👍🏼
Coming in the hotel lobby it didn’t smelled right and got worst when we got into our room. It smelled like wet rags. Our bedside wall light did not have a bulb on it and the lamp light as well. We went to bed at 11 and our room is in 2nd floor the floor above us was running and stomping at midnight. It was so hard to fall asleep and the ac is barely working and its one of those you cant control its just runs for whatever they set it. I expected more for this hotel i am very disappointed.
