A fan, microwave and toaster are basic amenities you need in a hotel rooms would be good to have these to complete the experience

Good place to stay except on a Saturday night!

You would think in all the reviews posted about this property that somebody would mention the beer garden is directly outside the rooms. We had a table and barrel up against the room wall, and enjoyed (not!) listening to a couple’s argument until they were shooed off at 11.30 pm. And then there was the live band😬 this was on a Saturday night. We changed rooms for Sunday night - slightly away from the beer garden, and we had a peaceful night’s sleep (I suspect we could have had one in the previous room as well as the outdoor area was quiet). The staff are nice, the food costs the same as in Sydney and it was good. The place looks freshly painted and is clean.

Not luxury accommodation but clean and great value for an overnight stop on our road trip.
Pros:

The room was clean and a great place to sleep overnight on our road trip. The staff were friendly over the phone and helpful in organising our late check-in.

Cons:

Some milk for the tea would have been great.
