Cool comfy and relaxing a great place to chill and enjoy downtown
Pros:

Got stuck in El Paso and have always wanted to stay in the older downtown area. As soon as I heard the John Dillinger connection I had to book a stay! I had a private room with private restroom and it was furnished with a nice nostalgic touch along with a Movie poster of No country for old men which was written by author Cormac McCarthy while he stayed here! The architecture is amazing with beautiful period furnishings! The Dillinger death mask and Tommygun displayed in the ornate lobby did not disappoint. The location is very boisterous and active at night. I also went to Dillinger’s bar and this where I found out that I was staying in El Paso’s Gay club district which is not problematic unless you’re a jerk but surely surprising! I do smoke and there is no smoking in Hotel so I did spend lots of time at night in front of the hotel on the benches to smoke and enjoyed the evening with a storm that came in and made the mood a bit eerie in the oldest continuously running hotel in El Paso. Only thing is I did not see one other single guest! Spooky? Nope quite and completely relaxing and the AC was on point I thought it might be stuffy and warm but not the case. Very cool experience wish I had more time to spend and maybe explore the building like I wanted but did not want to over step boundaries. Stay here and enjoy yourself

Cons:

No complaints

This is a hostel, not a hotel, you won't get your money back!
Pros:

The hostel is located in a historic building from the 19th or early 20th centuries—I can't say for sure, but there are lots of antiques and the hostel's design maintains a Wild West feel, making it feel like you're immersed in that era. It's very charming. The hostel also has an excellent kitchen for cooking.

Cons:

The hostel pretends to be a hotel on Booking.com, and only briefly mentions that it's a hostel and not a hotel. This can be confusing when you are making reservation on Booking.com, especially if you're a foreigner. And the worst part is, if you pay for a rreservation and then want to cancel it a minute later, you won't get your money back under any circumstances! I found myself in a similar situation. But when I arrived to the hotel I was able to exchange a four-person bunk bed for a very small private room at an additional cost. The room ended up costing me $72. A hostel is a hostel, and at night there are a lot of noises you won't like; they're loud. The private room is so small that if there are two of you or you weigh more than 50 kilograms, you might not fit in.

Howdee Cowboy.
Pros:

Second time to stay at Gardner Hotel. I'd rather have a double bed as a one person traveller, but the room with the single bed was fine. The basement common area / kitchen is great for preparing your own food and the adjacent bars are fun.

Cons:

It really is in the Gayborhood.

Historical, comfortable, welcoming, perfectly situated, clean and affordable. Perfect El Paso stay!
Pros:

Cormac McCarthy stayed here, wrote books here and set famous (if frightening) scenes here. The man was a genius. One of his genius moves was staying at the Gardner. Awesome place!

To klimatyczny hotel w stylu lat trzydziestych , jeśli ktoś lubi retro to o d razu poczuje klimat pogranicza lat trzydziestych. Rewelacyjny personel - tylko czekają żeby ci w czymś pomóc , ale bez służalczości . No i miejsce : w samym centrum i blisko mostu . Bardzo , bardzo polecam

Cons:
