Location and staff are great
Old hotel.
The seafront room was spacious and probably very lively when domestic tourism is present. The staff were happy to use Google translate to communicate. Cua Lo is not really ready for internationals but is a nice beach. I'm not sure when the season is. There was a closed theme park and water park, but it was like a ghost town and nothing open when I visited.
No food available as restaraunt at hotel closed, everything in the area closed, and so they gave me since biscuits for dinner, which was kind, but I was starving, having not eaten since breakfast. Anything like noodles or bahn mi would have been good, but all they had to offer was biscuits. There was not enough hot water, which i found after making a bath, sitting in the cold bath trying to make the most of it when a leak from above dropped on me. Breakfast i ordered fried eggs on toast with tea and juice, and instead, I got a small omelette with a dry bread roll, a black coffee, and water.
Cleanliness and staff friendliness. Breakfast has limited choice due to off peak season but it was well cooked
Facilities are a bit outdated and having wear and tear but the location is excellent and the hotel is spacious and beautiful design
The staff was friendly and helpful when needed.

Bad wifi (even though there were several of them, the connection kept being lost)
The room furniture was the same as shown in the photos, but was very worn out (the photos must have been taken a long time before we arrived).
The rooms smelled musty and slightly mouldy - visible mould could also be found in the bathroom.
A lizard/gecko jumped/fell on me while opening windows blinds.
Since there were only a few guests, breakfast - a dish from a menu - had to be ordered in advance. Drinks such as fruit juices were charged extra.
