Amawind Rockingham Apartments

Downstairs this apartment has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (both with double sized showers, 1 has a bath) and lots of room. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, a walk in wardrobe and ensuite. The other rooms have a queen size bed in one and two singles in the other. (make sure you request which rooms you want - the ones you're not paying for will have a sign on the door telling you not to use them, or you will be charged extra).
There is a washing machine and dryer in the laundry. Outside there is a private courtyard with an outdoor shower. There is a double garage with remote door.
Upstairs there is a good sized sofa and TV with DVD. A full sized dining table, and plenty of room. The kitchen is really well set up with lots of utensils, crockery, glasses (even champagne glasses) pots & pans, a microwave and a medium size fridge/ freezer.
We stayed 3 nights and walked to a different local café/ restaurant every morning for breakfast and evening for dinner. All were great and right on the beach. Several you can book for online before you arrive. The boardwalk along the beach is great for a morning run/ walk.
The building was very quiet and the beds comfortable. Upstairs there is ducted air-conditioning and it works great, though no air conditioning downstairs. When we stayed in April, the temperatures were perfect inside.
You'll need to bring coffee/ tea/ milk/ sugar etc with you.

Nice apartment. The upstairs area is very big and spacious. Though I would have liked air con in the bed rooms.

Arrived and apartment was still being cleaned, wifi didn't work until last morning. These were the only real issues other than that the apartment was amazing.

Started off very bad. Could not contact person for entry instructions. WOTIF phone contacts for assistance were frustrating. Eventually, after finding alternative accommodation for the night I found a number in a text message addressed 'Dear John'. With the amount of SPAM now days luckily I did not erase it. I have a total of over $450.00 spent that night because of this experience. I trust the losses will be addressed by WOTIF and Amawind.
Apartments. An unhappy experience. the pillows need changing, smell of perspiration.

A huge self-contained apartment just a short walk from Rockingham Beach, restaurants and cafes. Modern and stylishly furnished with fully equipped kitchen. Almost too spacious for a couple - ideal for larger groups and families.
