Check your room before booking
Pros:

Helpful staff, good location, great common spaces

Cons:

I have never had a room so small and without a window in any hotel I have ever stayed in. And serving only the same toffee yoghurts at breakfast three days running was amazingly bad. At least I've now learnt to look at the room I book on the app before booking

Lovely building
Pros:

The hotel was very attractive and in a good location. There was no official parking attached to the hotel, but plenty nearby. The staff were very pleasant and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent.

Cons:

When we opened our window we found it was directly above the kitchen extractor and the room immediately filled with the smell of frying! It was not pleasant and we requested a room change but the hotel was fully booked. However, there was air conditioning in the room so as it was a very warm evening, we closed the windows and turned the air conditioning on. Not ideal but better than the smell.
The room was also much smaller than any of the pictures on the website.

Pros:

I loved the three lounge areas upstairs. I had the small single room but it was perfectly comfortable and convenient it had its own ensuite. Location was great in the town centre, comfy bed, quiet building

No private car park but chargeable places to park nearby

Lovely place, lovely staff, great vibes and excellent location.
Pros:

The staff were lovely and also called me back as I left my ring there and left it for me to collect which was greatly appreciated (especially as it was my wedding ring!)

Good value stay
Pros:

Nice part of town, convenient travel wise to get to London. Decent modern bathroom and the staff were great.
