AC Hotel Guadalajara Providencia, Mexico

The staff was incredibly kind when I came in early from a redeye at 8 AM. They allowed me to hang out in the sky lounge until a room was ready at 10:30.

Great stay in GDL

It needs some maintenance. You can hear everything from one room to another and also the music from a bar outside the property.

Nice room, a bit small but functional...

The pool was had a grate view of the city. The staff at the pool were all very friendly and professional.

Beautiful hotel and view. Location felt safe. The bar by the pool was pricey and the drinks weren’t that good.

Horrible staff and poorly managed.

Excellent location close to many dining options. The house keeping services could be better, I ran out of soap and shampoo and had to request hangers.

Great hotel

1 side of the hotel is really noisy with wind due to the way it is constructed. We moved rooms to the other side and it was quieter but shower had no hot water.
It was within walking distance of good food

Property was great and staff very accommodating. The pool bar food and drinks were delicious! Midtown Jalisco mall was the only thing close within walking distance. Other than that, there was not much close to enjoy within walking distance as far as shops or street vendors. Property was centrally located to Centro histórico, Tlaquepaque and about an hour from Tequila which are the places we visited. We’d most likely stay here again.

The property looks tired and a bit outdated. No refrigerators in rooms and NO TOILET TREATS.

Outstanding Service

Got stuck in the elevator, as the door would not open once it got to the floor I was going to. Thankfully I was able to select another floor and it opened on that one. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

It was nice

The views from our corner room were not the best since it faced an area under construction and not city view like we thought we were going to have. Rooms are modern and sleek in design. Pool area is also an asset. Would recommend some property upkeep to preserve hotel value.

Room has zero soundproofing. Hotel is on a super loud and busy street and you hear all cars all night. We paid extra for corner room and could not sleep both nights we were there. Hotel has great pool and lounge rooms are decent. Noise is big turn off and definitely would not stay there again!

Pros: very kind staff, good breakfast and location of the hotel is definitely a plus.

Cons: the room was dirty (we even found bedbugs!!), the drain in the bathroom was clogged, toiletries (like body lotion and sanitary paper) weren’t new at all, pool’s water was very cold (definitely not suitable for kids) and we found out that a “daily pass” is sold for visitors to use the pool, so it was very crowded even when we didn’t see a lot of people in other common areas of the hotel. Definitely expected more for a Marriott hotel.
