Loved the lounging area, we had people over for drinks and it was perfect . The big tv area was also nice.

Cons:

Nothing in the bar was open. No drinks or coffee until. 5:00. Breakfast in morning but menu was confusing, some morning breakfast item didn’t come till late afternoon. No coffee pot in lobby and pot in rooms were pitiful!

My day was average.
Pros:

I like the location. It’s a very short walk to the beach. And there was plenty of parking.

Cons:

Only one of the electrical outlets in the room worked. This made it very difficult to charge our phones. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a hotel that did not have clock. The lighting in the room is really bad. You can’t hardly even see to put your makeup on or anything. I don’t like that the rooms are not cleaned every day or at least fresh towels given every day. When you were staying at a beach, you need extra towels. The room itself was not what I would expect of a Marriott. I’ve stayed at many Marriott’s, this one kind of felt low budget.

Pros:

Run down, needs a big time renovation. parking lot access doors didn't work. Front desk staff didn't seen like they genuinely cared. A lady at night did though. Could see that cleaning staff were trying to keep up with their tasks but appeared overwhelmed. Out of 7 Marriott properties we stayed in on vacation, this fell far below Marriott standards and below expectations. Would not prefer to stay here again. shower dispensers ripped off the wall. Rooms in desperate need of maintenance. Ice machine not working. Ownership and management, take notice. Lots of bad reviews. Location was great.

Pros:

Clean, comfortable and across the street from the ocean. Restaurants in walking distance. Polite helpful staff. Quite stay. Short drive to historic downtown.
