Good food and room was also very good. Its away from the lights and noise of a town with great views from the breakfast room. Great stop over hotel.
There was nothing that I did not like.
Plenty of parking.
Girl behind the bar was short and rude, the bathroom on the ground floor was broken and came off the floor when sitting down, weed smoke in the hall way and one of the rooms smelt like cat piss. I spoke with other guests who actually live there and was told one of the rooms had 30+ dogs within it. Felt like a HMO over a hotel.
That they have upgraded the rooms looking more modern and comfy.
There weren't any glasses in the bathroom, and that the internet is bad when trying to put normal TV on the new smart TV

The views the room was nice came to celebrate my friends 40th birthday breakfast was nice lots of choice
The only thing was no kitchen staff in the evening so couldn’t get a bar snack at tea time had to travel to the nearest shop about 10 minutes drive to get some sandwiches etc if we had known we would of brought our own it’s just a good job we came in my daughters car and not on the train just it stated bar snacks were available until 8.30 but when we got downstairs to bar area was told there was no kitchen staff
Its location is excellent. Just 5 mins off the M62
The decor was slightly tired

Dirty bedding left in corridor on the floor. Room not cleaned during the stay - bed left unmade no clean towels

The cups in the rooms are much too small and the rims are too wide. For our future visits could you please put a glass or plastic tumbler in the rooms for those who need to have water in the night.Thank you.
