The staff was great! The hotel was clean, would have ben nice if I would have known history, but learned quickly.
WiFi could have been better and the heater did not work
Neustálé vrzání stropu, když nad námi byly další pokoje, to bylo šílené.
Good location - very peaceful surroundings. Very friendly front desk staff as well as staff in the breakfast area.
We sat around the fire pit and staff was there to help lit up the wood fire. Kid liked to run around the large lawn area of the property. Main structure of the property has the old world charm with beautiful wood work.
Beds were comfortable and we didn't have any noisy neighbor problem. Breakfast was decent with options of carb heavy and healthy options. 10 minutes drive to town with multiple dinner options.
Our room was little compact. They might also want to consider adding 2 queen size beds instead of 2 full size beds.
Pillows were very large - might be a problem for little kids.
The room is big and clean。The breakfast is good 。The staffs were very nice and helpful 。
No
Accessible to Yosemite. Room was very comfortable. Kids enjoyed roasting s’mores.
The property was charming. It was like out of a storybook. Easy to get to off the main road & the hotel displayed their sign on the main highway. Plenty of parking, very peaceful, & quiet serene area. The trees and greenery and landscape were nicely manicured. Everything was so pristine and quiet.
The staff was amazing here! Particularly Marlo! I had messaged the property when I booked it and had some questions and concerns and she quickly got back to me and addressed them all very nicely. Then when we checked in it was her that checked us in and she was absolutely amazing— one of the best service members I’ve ever come across in all my travels! So kind and friendly and treated us like family. Very warm and a great hostess! Her and I had some nice conversations and I was grateful! She was able to check us in early also, because we made amazing timing on the drive up which was nice to be able to do before heading into the Park that afternoon! ☺️
Also, any of the members at night were so helpful for example, my son had stained his jeans with the mud on the hike, and I asked if he could get us a little bit of laundry detergent and he poured some in a bottle and brought it to us and the stains came out lol.
Also the breakfast was light but perfect with coffee, orange juice, bagel, yogurt, those kinds of things, so it was nice to not have to worry about breakfast. I was craving scrambled eggs and bacon, so it would be nice if I was added lol. Cris was very helpful on Sunday morning and left the food out later which was nice so that we were able to sleep in and still have breakfast and was very friendly.
The only downside was that we stayed in room 20, which is the very first room behind the lobby, which was perfect location, but because of it being a older hotel, which was the charm that I picked, the room can hear absolutely everything from a conversation to a footsteps to everyone else next to you opening and closing the bedroom doors. So I would say if they were able to make a way to soundproof the rooms then it would be ideal.
The room itself was adorable & small but very charming and very clean. the beds were very comfortable. We got a great night sleep both nights & the blackout curtains helped.
Also with our room location, it was right across from the icemaker and the icemaker is very noisy and I asked another staff member but he said there was nothing he could do about it.
There’s no fridge in room which is not a must but it would have been nice. We just filled the ice in our cooler and didn’t pack much items needing friegeration.
So possibly the owner can look into getting a new icemaker machine or at least fixing that one, soundproof the rooms, specifically there behind the lobby and then it would quite possibly be most perfect little charming getaway spot!
I will definitely be back but just book one of the back exterior rooms so it’s quieter away from the lobby noises, people, icemaker, and more in the trees to enjoy the nature. Can’t wait to go back! 😊
Very serene. Staff is incredible. Great outdoorsy location.
No bar or restaurant on premises.
The structure and surrounding area. Peaceful
Breakfast was very simple. More of an early morning snack or small breakfast.
The staff was the most kind and helpful. Also it is perfectly located, with a really cozy vibe.
The room was a good size and comfortable bed.
Charming setting with rustic ranch feel
Very small room for 4 persons, tripping on suitcases
me encanto la tranquilidad, paz, todo muy silencioso. el lugar muy limpio, el desayuno delicioso y saludable. la ubicacion muy cerca al centro de la ciudad. lo recomiendo mucho el lugar. me encanto alojarme ahi. :-) :-)
standard complimentary breakfast. but honestly as silly as it sounds the chef was one of the reasons we rated it so high instead of average. super personable guy.
wish the beds were bigger. feet hang off the bed. no fridge or microwave in room but i guess that’s the vibe that sets this place apart from others.
The overall hotel - very unique
The room was cold (cold air coming through the window door) and the air conditioning to warm it up was quite noisy. Breakfast was just OK. We were expecting a bit more from a continental breakfast
