Covenient stopover between Cairns and Townsville
Pros:

Good location on the highway at Cardwell. It was a convenient stopover on the trip back up from Airlie Beach. The room was a good size and had a jug, microwave and toaster.

Cons:

No remote for the TV, the air conditioner wasn't adjustable, no fan so stuffy, we had to ask for a towel for the second person, the decor was dated.

Interesting Stay
Pros:

The staff were friendly, it was a shame that they had closed early. There wasn't enough information given for the Internet connection, restaurant and pool times. The staff were in a rush to leave which I thought was odd. The hotel room was nice and cozy. The neighbors were friendly and it was close to everything including the beach.

Cons:

I wasn't impressed with how the coffee cup wasn't clean. It was a shame that I didn't get to experience the restaurant and the pool area. The staff were polite and we felt welcomed to a point. The staff were in and out of the Bottle Mart quite a fair bit and I wasn't impressed.

Pros:

The toaster, microwave were rusted. The TV screen was all pixilated so could not use the TV, no spare blankets so I had a cold night.
The bed was comfortable.
