The hotel needs an upgrade.
Pros:

Beautiful location with Lots of walking routes.

Cons:

Sadly this wasn’t the best stay. Imaging visiting a senile great grand aunt. Everything is old and dirty, with hints of black mold. There is a reason you don’t find pictures from the bathroom. They offered me another room, but I went to look and it was just as dirty and old with a flickering light, so no upgrade. At night they leave the lights from outside on (I asked, didn’t want to turn them off) and the curtains don’t help. Lots of light and sounds coming from outside. You can hear Owls, dogs barking and every car that passes. Far from 4 stars, and you leave with everything smelling dusty.

Even in alle rust genieten van oude glorie
Pros:

Wij zijn gek op de sfeer van het verleden wat het uitstraalt
Daarom een 9 terwijl er ook best wat vergane glorie heerst
Dit moet blijven want met alle ketens verdwijnt de historie en zijn sfeer

Gezellige sfeervol hotel, maar wel verouderd.
Pros:

De locatie was super, midden in het bos. Mooi wandelgebied.
Het eten in het restaurant was heel goed, fijne sfeer.

Cons:

De kamers zijn verouderd, en sober, maar voor 1 nacht prima.

Das Petsonal (abends) war sehr nett! Das Essen im Restaurant war gut!

Cons:

Wenn gerade renoviert wird und man erreicht das Zimmer nur durch Plastikplanen, usw. ist das nicht ok! Das Zimmer war starkmodernisierungsbedürftig! Das Frühstück wirkte lieblos und spartanisch…

Cons:

Vergane glorie. Zowel buiten als binnen veel achterstallig onderhoud. Kamer zeer gedateerd. Vieze vloerbedekking en balkon. Badkamer vies, tegels kapot etc etc

Heerlijk geslapen in schone kamer en prima ontbijt met gastvrij en vriendelijk personeel.
Pros:

Wat later op de avond arriveerde ik en werd heel hartelijk ontvangen door een zeer vriendelijke man. Ervaarde ik als heel prettig. Ik had een eenpersoonskamer met een goed bed, heerlijk geslapen. Ontbijt s morgens was ook prima, heerlijk rustig met mooi uitzicht op de bossen.

Cons:

Mogelijkheid om kopje thee op de kamer te zetten miste ik. Gangen naar de kamers zou ik wanneer ik manager was een likje verf / nieuw behangetje geven. En een pietlutten-puntje ;-) > doucheraampje zou ik opknappen.

Niet voor herhaling vatbaar!
Pros:

Heerlijk diner, en ontbijt was goed! De jongere personeelsleden waren buitengewoon vriendelijk en beleefd. Oudere dame die zorg droeg voor het ontbijt was zeer onvriendelijk en kwam geagiteerd over!

Cons:

De kamer was ronduit slecht. Wat een waardeloos uitzicht, slecht matras, een buur die men om 01:30u. zijn kamer hoort binnengaan, en vervolgens is de vaatwasser of iets dergelijks op de begane grond hoorbaar.
