Motel 6 San Diego, CA Airport Harbor

No blow dryer

I stayed in room 220. Throughout the night, every 2–3 hours, there was an extremely loud noise that sounded like a machine operating. The noise repeatedly woke me up and prevented me from getting any rest. To make matters worse, there was also a cockroach in the room. The location of the hotel is excellent and very convenient, which is the main reason I chose to stay here, as I had an early morning flight and needed to be close to the airport. I have stayed at this hotel several times before, usually in rooms on the first floor, and I have never experienced any issues.

Lo único que podría mejorar es que el baño no contaba con shampoo ni jabón de cortesía. Afortunadamente llevé mis propios artículos de aseo, por lo que no fue un problema importante durante mi estancia.

As expected for an airport motel, aircraft taking off and landing can be heard from the room. However, air traffic decreases significantly later in the evening, so it was not a major issue for me. During my stay, there was also a large construction project next to the property, and the work continued quite late into the night, creating a lot of noise. Unfortunately, this was beyond the motel’s control.

The room didn’t look clean and there was a MOUSE inside!!!!!!!

Too close to airport, hence noisy. No check out late - which was not cool considering the price.

Wenig komfortabel. Oberflächen und Böden zT beschädigt, sodass es schmuddelig wirkt.
Fluglärm entsprechend der Nähe zum Flughafen- viel störender war das ständige Hupen der Bahn.
Zu teuer. Es fanden gerade Bauarbeiten statt- schön dass investiert wird. Eine vorherige Info oder Anpassung des Preises wären hier wünschenswert gewesen.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. Upon check-in, I was charged an additional fee for early check-in. Later, some family members briefly came by to drop off luggage before their flight that evening and were not planning to stay at the hotel.

However, the front desk staff repeatedly confronted us regarding the number of people in the room, even after only four guests remained. The situation became extremely uncomfortable and felt unnecessarily hostile. Staff members entered the room to inspect it and even requested that we open the bathroom door to verify no additional guests were present. I found this behavior invasive and unprofessional.

In addition, the room itself was not in acceptable condition. The sheets had holes in them, the room appeared unclean, and there was no hot water available during our stay.

Due to the ongoing harassment and uncomfortable atmosphere, I decided to leave the hotel around 7 PM. While waiting outside for our Uber, one staff member continued staring at us, which only added to the discomfort of the experience.

Overall, I found the staff’s conduct unprofessional and the accommodations unacceptable. I will be submitting a formal complaint regarding this experience.
