Hotel = Fine to Good, Denny's = meh, location is tough right now.
Pros:

Clean room, friendly staff, pleasant hotel.

Cons:

Attached Denny's restaurant was mid quality food at best. Pleasant staff though. Location of hotel is awkward. Lots of construction nearby creates a bottleneck to the hotel entrance.

Great location...overall fine & we will stay here again...bringing our own pillows!

Cons:

WORST PILLOWS EVER! Hard & lumpy. South side rooms of building noisy. Shower a possible lawsuit. There is NO safety bar. We noticed the towel bar has been re-attached with a wooden board. We're assuming it was ripped off the wall when someone tried to use it to get out of the shower.

Sandman Hotels (Langley and Abbotsford) have tub drainage issues. Bathrooms are dirty.
Pros:

I like the king suite. There was a bunk bed for the children. There’s also a kitchen but no dishwasher. The ceiling is very high which made the room look really spacious. It was comfortable.

Cons:

I don’t know what it is with Sandman hotels and their clogged bathtubs. We had the worst experience at Sandman Langley. We had the same tub issue with Sandman Abbotsford. Water was taking awhile to drain. The sides of the bath sink have molds. Bathrooms were not too clean.

The person at checkout wasn’t nice either. We left our key but she was busy on the phone. She just held out her hand without even acknowledging a wave or smile.
