Best hotel in Tecate
Pros:

Our hotel stay was amazing. Loved the room! it was clean, spacious, and the beds were confy. Staff were friendly, specially Emilio. He was very hospitable. Thank you for bringing us warm conchitas to our room. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed.

Highly luxurious stay in a great location.
Pros:

I have often stayed in Tecate at various budget places, such as El Dorado or the Tecate Inn on the way south out of town. I was surprised by the luxurious and grand style of this place. Very nice rooms, nice little balcony, very comfortable bed, great amenities, great bathtub, plenty of hot water, very quiet, and good walking distance down Benito Juarez.

Cons:

The heat mode on our thermostat wouldn't work. We had two rooms, and one had nice heat. The other did not. It was a very chilly December night. If we had planned to stay longer, I would have called for maintenance. HVAC issues abound in Mexico and rooms often have no heat whatever, so this was a relatively minor glitch.

Luxurious and beautiful with a great location.
Pros:

The design and aesthetic is in the very grand Mexican luxury style, with big rooms, large bathrooms, marble floors, high ceilings, etc. Very comfortable beds. Huge bathtub and plenty of hot water.

Cons:

It would be helpful for staff to provide more information on check in about the amenities and layout of the hotel. Also, oddly, the heat did not work in one of the two rooms we booked. It worked well in the other room.

Great except for low toilet and long ramp from parking lot to lobby

The location. Beautiful hotel . Lovely Mexican Art . Great staff

Cons:

Having to go up the ramp with our canes : six sections of ramp. We would have gone to the restaurant but it meant stairs. I requested a handicapped room with bars in shower and high toilet. The toilet was regular . At least it could have had bars to help get up from the low toilet . I believe a golf cart to transport guests from parking lot to lobby would be a wonderful amenity .

I wanted to stay here the whole weekend but I had to check out Saturday as the room was booked for Saturday to Sunday, and nothing else was available. I was disappointed with cleanness and truthfully I have aleays enjoyed my stay here but this time around we wanted to use the tub and found some hair from previous use and sand or water in bottom of tub after we teied to fill the tub.
