Unexpected. I thought it would be better!
Pros:

It would have been to a indoor pool and hot tub.And I always like a small store for getting items. Breakfast and even Continental breakfast would be great.

It wasn't what I expected, but it got the job done.
Pros:

I think the hotel is situated in a beautiful place by the water. It's very scenic, rustic and quaint. I think the area is very calm and relaxing.

Cons:

The hotel in reality was completely different in comparison to the photos as advertised online. The building needs updating. It is obvious that the building is rather aged and hasn't had even the most remedial upgrades in quite a few years. I noticed the door to the room door was uneven; you could see a gap between the door and the doorframe that wasn't a symmetrical size. I didn't know if there was a space for breakfast, but it didn't appear to be very big or inviting judging from the look of the lobby space. We had a room that promised a waterfront view- but that was only partially true. Overall, it just seemed to lack a vibrance that the pictures implied to be there.
