Location good. I didnt have any meals at the hotel (accommodation only)as I got around. The room while small had all the expected facilities.Clean and tidy
One basic thing. The room although it only had a small window was really hot. I suppose air conditioning has seldom been needed in the past?. The climate is changing.
Room was the perfect size, the bed was very comfy and the shower was just what you needed. The pub downstairs was amazing, with such lovely and friendly staff and the managers who would do absolutely anything for you
Nothing at all
Clean , nicely decorated, quiet, excellent staff.
Great location ,loved the cosy little bedroom bed so comfy also a good shower .Enjoyed our stay at the Granby Hotel .
No complaints
Lovely and clean . Friendly staff.
The location was perfect.
Manged to park close by.
Window in the Bedroom was broken and needed some fresh air.
The place has had a refurbishment and new owners who are lovely people . It is in a great location.
The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. The pub is very welcoming and a great selection of drinks to enjoy. The meals looked amazing even though we didn't eat there but the full English breakfast was fantastic to set you up for the day.
Liked it all.
All excellent

The food breakfast wasn’t good!
The staff were quite nice.
Said there was parking, and there certainly WASN’T !!!
Breakfast OK but not available until 9.30am
Bedroom & bathroom small but clean a well equipped.
Access to (2nd floor) bedrooms up steep staircase
-not easy for elderly.should be marketed as ‘Pub with letting bedrooms’ rather than ‘hotel’
The bed and pillows were so comfortable and soft. Slept like babies. The location was Very good. It was central to all the amenities. The staff were very friendly, and made you feel.welcome. It had a homely feeling. The room.was small , but spotless. It has good facilities. The room had only been renovated a few weeks ago. Everything was new . It is very good value for money. The menu is very reasonable, considering it's central to Whitby. The coast is a few minutes walk away.
I didn't like, there isn't any parking, but there is a local car park pay and display on Silver Street, the next street across.
In the bedroom, there was a sofa, which didn't need to be there, as we felt wasn't needed, as the room was very small, and it took up space. The room didn't need all the furniture, which was there, which would make the room appear bigger.
