There was almost no internet in my room

Had a beach hut which was all we needed and found the staff stunning and so obliging and happy. Hut was great, loved the beach and snorkeling, paddling to other island on kyack. So peaceful and beautiful

I cannot speak highly enough of this resort. The staff were amazing, the villas beautiful and the house reef just incredible. Do not hesitate to book this. Absolute bliss.

We went during the rainy season where a lot of tours for all of Labuan Bajo were cancelled due to weather conditions. In saying that, we were able to enjoy being on the resort. The house reef is incredible for snorkeling. We saw turtles, reef sharks, a Ray, many lion fish and a whole tonne of reef fish and coral. What made the trip even better were the staff who worked there. Super friendly, thoughtful and caring. We would both definitely go back after such a lovely stay there.

We usually avoid resort hotels but Sudamala was fabulous - the absolute highlight of our trip around Indonesia.

Beware if you book with this property some of the units have a shared wall with an additional shared door between the units. With a shared door that is only a few centimeters thick......There was a group next to me he came back from the bar drunk and made a lot of noise. In my opinion the unit was designated to be shared, It is not meant for having two different group that aren’t related.

I went to bed early so that I can catch up on my sleep after a long trip. I was woken up at 10 PM and was unable to go back to sleep until 1 AM. Sucked!!

The guests in the unit next to me were also very dissatisfied with the stay because they couldn’t relax in their own space because of the shared wall


The resort was empty it would seem they will just upgrade one of us so we don’t have a shared wall but they did not.

They either need better soundproofing which is going to be a lot of work based on the fact the walls themselves are very thin and when the other people in the unit next you walk on the floor the entire building is influenced.

The property seemed okay, and the staff was nice, however I will never go back to this property because I didn’t get any sleep.

Only about five units total occupied on the property at the time of my stay so you would think they would have separated guests out of common courtesy but they didn’t. I suggested they change their policy, but they defended their policy saying they were not going to change it.

Beautiful quiet place with lovely helpful staff. Would love to go back again.

We chose this resort to get away from the hostel/backpacker vibe of Labuan Bajo, while still doing some diving. Sudamala has a great dive shop, they organized 5 dives, we enjoyed ourselves a lot. Great attention to safety and guest comfort. Beach and house reef are beautiful.

Seraya Island has become our favourite place thanks to Sudamala resort! It really is the best place in the world we’ve been so far, a boat trip away from Komodo National Park where we got to see the Komodos, the hotel has its own protected reef and has banned plastic from the island making it the most environmentally friendly place we stayed in Indonesia. We got engaged during our stay here and the staff made the experience magical for us. They helped my boyfriend arrange a surprise treasure hunt with clues etc buried in the sand and the staff all in on the surprise handing me clues in envelopes. Finally we had a romantic meal with our table lit by a heart on the jetty. The service, rooms and location were incredible and I can’t recommend them enough. You will love this place and it’s worth every penny!

Evrything is perfect; all staffs are gentle and plite, room is always very clean, it is very quiet in day time and noght time.

A slice of paradise. One of the most relaxing resorts I’ve been to. Perfect for those wanting a digital detox (the WiFi can handle a few texts and basic emails but the island is so far from the mainland to handle more). The snorkelling is the best I’ve seen both at the resort and nearby. There’s a fantastic dive company on site for dives and trekking excursions.

Loved each and every minute on the resort. The reef just off the beach was a bonus... look out for lion fish, sting ray and squid from the jetty after dinner. Loads of marine life when u snorkel.

They also provide tours to Rinca, Padar Island and other islands

It was an amazing stay, can’t fault one single. The food, the service, the room - everything was great.

An amazing spot in a very beautiful country. The staff was very polite, courteous and attentive along with the food being delicious. Great reef to also explore. Above all the room was cozy, comfy and had a spectacular view.

Really a unique place. Beautiful location, hotel and amazing staff. We had the best snorkeling of our lives just next to our doorstep.

Dont book the attached chalet though, the walls are so thin you can hear EVERYTHING. Get the standalone chalets only.

I can stay there forever. A very nice Resort with great beach Andam great place to witness sunset and sun rise.. staffer are friendly... the room is clean. The food is just average for us, nothing special. Maybe becoz of the location, the pastry is not fresh, ... but overall, I am satisfied

We stayed a week at Seraya and had a great time relaxing and exploring what the ocean has to offer. It's a great resort to relax and enjoy the sun and sea. The resort has a beautiful house reef where you see all sorts of sea life. And an hour away are some of the best diving sites in the world. The staff is very kind. The facilities are great. The dive center is top notch. The only thing that could be improved is the food (it's above average, but nothing special). That said we didn't mind it (and we like to travel for food!)
