Nothing
Very well located hotel in a quiet part of Nairobi. Very secure and good facilities including a swimming pool. We stayed for 6 nights and it was an excellent base to explore the city and further afield. Highly recommended and very well priced.
There was a huge party going on on the Saturday night with booming noise outside my window that despite ear plugs stopped me from sleeping. I had to go and discuss this at 1.20am before it was stopped. I understand music till 12 but this was thoughtless when they had a number of guests who were leaving early in the morning and this was known.

The staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.
I stayed 3 nights over 2 stays. First morning the breakfast selection was limited, definitely not worth the price if not included in my room rate. The other two mornings when there were more people, as Intrepid Tours uses it as a base in the city, there was a large selection of food. The onsite restaurant has a lot of options for lunch and dinner. Nothing special but nothing to complain about.
The location was secure - security at the entrance from the road. It is close to ATMs and a supermarket but you have to cross a busy road to get to them. You can walk to the tourist areas (museum, markets) if you like walking (2 to 3 km each way).
They have secure baggage storage for when you are on your safari or if you have to check out before its time to leave for the airport. There was no problem staying in the common areas after checkout.
No screens on the window. Undergoing renovations so noise during the day and detours to get to room.
Location is excellent as you are centrally located in Nairobi.
Pool is good, staff is very friendly.

I am still completely overwhelmed by how incredible our stay was at the Hill Park Hotel Upperhill Nairobi! From the absolute very second we arrived, we were blown away by the warmth and hospitality. A massive, heartfelt thank you goes to Maureen, who checked us in. She was an absolute angel! Maureen went completely above and beyond to help my family and ensure we were taken care of. She instantly made us feel at home.
She checked us into an exceptionally spacious room that was perfect for the family—sparkling clean, beautifully arranged, and so comfortable that we didn't want to leave!
Everything about this hotel deserves ten stars:
The Food: Absolutely amazing! Every single meal was a culinary delight, bursting with flavor.
The Pool: Excellent! The perfect spot for the family to unwind and have fun.
The Location: Unbeatable. It is safely tucked away yet within perfect walking distance to the heart of the city.
The Staff: Every single staff member we encountered was incredibly helpful, polite, and attentive.
The cleanliness throughout the entire property was top-notch. If you are visiting Nairobi with family, this is the place to stay! We are so grateful for the wonderful memories and cannot wait to return. Thank you, Hill Park Hotel, and thank you, Maureen!

It was filthy dirty with long hair blocking the shower drain, mould everywhere and no door for the bathroom in a twin room.

Very convenient location, excellent staff and service
Very weak and inconsistent WiFi, shockingly expensive dinner - over double a local restaurant ‘s price for much worse quality. Very loud construction work, swimming pool closed.
J'ai passé un très bon sejour. Cependant étant en juillet il a fait très froid la nuit et les chambres ne sont pas chauffée, dommage.
The hotel met expectations and it is recommended
Bed was comfy, kettle with plenty of tea and beautiful sitting areas around and inside the hotel.
