Pleasant stay
Pros:

Staff friendly and welcoming. Food good.

Cons:

Room was large but was tired and needs a refurb. Although we were made welcome with our dog we had to eat in lounge which was okay for evening. However at breakfast we felt forgotten we had to keep asking for service on both mornings, and the lounge is a walkway for exiting guests. Suggest a dog area in restaurant

Fantastic place to stay
Pros:

Absolutely love the property

Cons:

The cleanliness of the room need to be a bit more stains and dust on valances and the tv was really thick with dust on the back , bed cover was ripped and the room are freezing if you don’t have a portable heater also the jacuzzi bath when I started to fill had scum coming out of the holes

It could have been luxury, but the hotel didn't have operational central heating!
Pros:

The bed was very comfortable and the room well decorated. Food was okay.

Cons:

There was no central heating when I stayed. My room was heated by electric oil-filled heaters, as was the bar area. My bathroom was freezing cold and could only be heated by keeping the door between the bathroom and the bedroom open. I could clearly hear conversation from the bar from my room; and in the morning was woken by the piped music from the bar/restaurant area.
