location was great for getting to Manchester airport. Service was great.
Food in the restaurant was expensive given the portions and quality.
Lovely big room, well furnished with roomy bathroom all spotlessly clean. Plenty of choice for breakfast with the option to eat on the terrace next to the lake. Meals available in the restaurant or bar ( lovely comfortable seating and decor). We opted for a lighter meal in the bar and were not disappointed. Food was lovely and well presented.
Personally there was nothing we didn't like although I expect some would prefer a swimming pool

The bedroom was very spacious and comfy.
Evening meal in the restaurant was delicious and breakfast was good with lots of choice.
A nice outside terrace next to a small lake where you could eat and have a drink, weather was good too!

It’s very homely
One of the things that really stood out about this venue was the owner. They had a real presence throughout the day, taking the time to speak to guests and making sure everyone was enjoying themselves. It was clear they genuinely cared that everything ran smoothly, and their hands-on approach made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. It really added to the atmosphere and made the day even more special.
Lovely hotel with beautiful grounds . Staff were excellent . The room was big and spacious with a great big bed . Food was exceptional !
The location & gardens are lovely; bed & linen were comfy & clean
The room wasn't cleaned properly (used sanitary towel in the bin), the staff didn't know what could or couldn't be charged to the room, and then were rude when asking us to pay... tried to charge us for breakfast even though we booked b&b... And when we checked out, tried to charge us for the bar tab & breakfast again!!! Location is great, staff not so much. Hotel defo needs an electrical inspection too, sockets & light switches were clearly wired up by the gardener.

Excellent stay, had a top floor room which was lovely and quiet. The food in the restaurant was first rate as was the breakfast and service received from all the team during my stay. I look forward to returning.
