Pros:

Well the hotel was being renovated. New owners. Very nice people very friendly and they did everything so that my stay would be super. Unfortunatly the air conditionning was not working so well. And on saturday night there is a casino bar that goes on until ,around six o clock in the morning.

Une expérience désastreuse du début à la fin. L’accueil par Yeniffer était sympathique, mais c’est le seul point positif de cet hôtel. Propreté inexistante : ménage visiblement pas fait, présence d’ongles et de restes de nourriture sur la moquette, aération bouchée par la poussière, robinetterie sale et rouillée, douche sans rideau et pression d’eau quasi nulle. Le coffre-fort ne fonctionnait pas. La moquette était pleine de taches et la baie vitrée dans un état lamentable. Niveau sécurité, le gardien passait la nuit allongé sur le sofa de la réception à dormir, porte grande ouverte. L’hôtel est juste à côté de la discothèque du casino, musique à fond toute la nuit, impossible de dormir.

Le petit déjeuner était hors de question, la cuisine était dans un état de saleté indescriptible, ce qui en disait long sur l’hygiène générale de l’établissement. J’ai signalé tous ces problèmes, mais rien n’a été fait. Et pour couronner le tout, une souris dans la chambre le dernier matin. Un hôtel à fuir absolument.

The hotel was run down. The room wasn’t clean & there wasn’t a lock on the patio door of my room. The receptionist didn’t not speak English which it was difficult to communicate with her.

Pros:

The tv was not working, we advised the front desk and they never came to fix it. Secondly, there was cockroaches in the room/bathroom. My husband went downstairs to get a product to kill them, and they didn’t have any. The concierge is as left alone and obviously he wasn’t able to change rooms. We almost didn’t sleep all night and couldn’t wait to leave the next morning, we had to leave the lights on “just in case”.

I will definitely come back to this hotel in my next trip to Las Terrenas.
My only suggestion is to upgrade the main entrance's door, as it can be an inconvenient to keep calling with our cellphones every single time we need to enter or exit the facility.
Just like the elevator, we should be able to use our room's key to come in.or step out.

Very convenient for a short stay, big rooms, located on 10-15min from Bonita Beach, Portillo, Central Town.

The rooms are very confortable but the hole property have things to improve.

Very unsafe, the glass doors in the rooms that have access to the pool doesn't lock. There is a casino and a bar at the hotel but is not only for peolpe that are staying in the hotel, everyone from the neighborhood have access to be there too. Its very unsafe. People were so drunk and very rude, I had to get out of there the same day I checked in, I was afraid for my own safety. I do not recommend this place at all.
