Hreay place to get away and fell like you went back in time to a peaceful easy time.

The atmosphere was fantastic. Clean fans friendly.
They made you feel welcome.

Cons:

The heating unit in the suite was not working properly so it got chilly at night.
Other than that it was great.

Pros:

When we had to change our plans and bring our dog, the staff was understanding and caring, updating our reservation to include our pet who had just been diagnosed with terminal cancer. Instead of canceling our trip, we were able to say our goodbyes.

Be sure to request a room in the Hotel!
Pros:

Location was excellent for exploring the town. You get free drink and breakfast coupons when you check in. The breakfast buffetwas really good with a nice variety of items to choose from.

Cons:

We thought we were checking into a neat old hotel, which is what we look for when traveling. The hotel itself does look to be old and comfy! However, we were not booked in the hotel, we were put in a little “apartment” a little ways down the street. It was not nearly so charming nor comfy. If we ever get back down that way again, we would definitely decline that particular accommodation and request something in the Hotel!

Pros:

Love that it was close enough to walk everywhere. Fantastic breakfast and good live music at night.

Cons:

Bathtub would have been nice but not a deal breaker. Just the only thing I could think of.

Nice option for a stay in cute Hermann
Pros:

The property is close to shops and many restaurants. I was traveling with a dog and they have pet dedicated rooms. I stayed in a suite, with two rooms and a private entrance. They also gave a coupon for a welcome drink (nice!) and the complimentary breakfast was very good!

Cons:

Since I was traveling with a pet, there was a $50 pet fee per night, which was not advertised. This fee, I thought, was excessive, for the quality of the hotel. They also requested a tip upon arriving “for the girls”, which was 10-20% of the total bill, which is much more than standard tipping!!

Excellent!
Pros:

Breakfast was great. The room was exceptional in every way. The staff, especially Lisa, was just the best! They went over and above in every way to make our experience outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel!

Cons:

Check in girl was not the most welcoming person. Luckily she saw us headed to the bar at 8 pm to get our complimentary drinks as she was ready to get in her car to leave at 8, the bar closes at 9 pm. She was headed home, but unlocked the doors, turned on the lights and led us down stairs to the bar.

Cons:

No grab bars in shower.
