Roundtop Mountain Vista - Cabins and Motel

This probably shouldn’t be listed as an option on booking.com. This seems more like a motel where people are living. I got the sense that someone was living in my room and they marginally cleaned it before I got there. There were used clothes and a bag of oranges in the dresser drawers. Also the two rooms I rented were the only ones with an access key code (but no chain lock from the inside ) I just worried the whole night that the original room occupant would key code their way inside to take my things (didn’t happen but felt possible)

The room was extremely dirty we wasn't given a key so we couldn't lock the room or take our things inside when we returned from the springs we started to settle in when we noticed a nasty smell in the room coming from the shower we opened the nightstand and found it was full of dirty wemons panties and when we saw the giant yellow stain on the bed we just left this place is nasty and I wouldn't recommend anyone stay there spend a few more bucks and get a decent room this place gave off a dirty mike and the boys vibe of ya know what I mean

Dirty, holes in walls, check in process impossible, noisy. generally AWFUL.

EVERYTHING! Noone was around to deal with the issues and if you called the number posted on the office door, Noone answered nor could you leave a message. Several light bulbs were burned out, light covers were missing, dumpster fires right out our room. Handles were falling off the furniture. The grounds looked like a junk yard. The table outside our room was disgusting! It was a waste of money. I will be turning all the pictures I took of the filth and run down conditions to the health department and Better Business Bureau.

Didn't stay everything was dirty there wasn't a receptionist

The bathroom was gross. The tv didn’t work .
A lot of junk everywhere,
A full garbage and cigarette butt in front of the door.
Uncomfortable bed .

It looked like the room had been previously broken into. All the covers were off the heaters and they looked dirty. Shower would get steaming hot when other rooms flushed toilets or turned on their showers.

The mirror was not hung up on the wall. The one towel holder fell off the wall when we hung a towel on it. There wasn’t anywhere to hang towels. I didn’t see any staff. There were local kids riding there scooters and bikes into the parked cars. There was food and drinks for m the tables in there little picnic area. No o ne seemed to be cleaning up for others to use.

Heat didnt work

A refrigerator in better shape. A blackout curtain. The window has a nice curtain; however, the outside lights on at night for security keep the room lite up through the present curtains. The brightness made it difficult to get to sleep.
