Convenient location to explore Jakarta
Pros:

They location is within 15 -20 minutes of the main square, several train stations, and a number of malls plus a street loaded with street food at night. The room was very quiet.

Gut und günstig mit super Lage, aber kein Luxus
Pros:

Lage ist super, Preis war auch gut. Wenn man kein Luxus braucht oder eine familiäre Atmosphäre ist es ein guter Ausgangspunkt um Jakarta zu sehen.

Cons:

Alles ok, etwas in die Jahre gekommen und bestimmt nicht der sauberste Ort (wie immer bei Teppich), aber vollkommen ok. Es war das günstigste in der Lage und die Betten waren gut. Handtücher haben etwas gerochen und Waschbecken hätte sauberer sein können, aber nicht so, dass es schlimm war!!

Good for the price
Pros:

It's cheap and kinda legendary; breakfast is tasty; there's drinks to be had; "management" is relaxed; room was spacious and clean; bed comfy and linen clean; bathroom spacious with hot water fast and fabulous (some rooms with bathtubs); there's a barfridge; wi-fi good enough; a little desk with power socket beneath and kettle with coffee and tea sachets and two crisp plastic bottles of drinking water. Location sees a lot of places within walking distance (but who walks?).

Cons:

All the AC are in need of servicing, it seems, and wheeze mildly, dolefully. The rooms farthest from the street feature an on/off pump noise subtly intruding one's sleep. The fellow guests can be unrestrictedly exuberant; likewise, street singers with loudspeakers. Oh, the rich tapestry of life...
